Edward Turck No Problem on the info. Just a bit of clarification though just so nobody including you is mistaken in thinking that I'm trying to bash UltraSabers in any way... I'm not bashing UltraSabers. They make a high quality product that are enjoyed by a huge portion of the Star Wars fan base. It's just the ACCURACY OF DESIGN DETAILS COMPARED TO THE MOVIE PROP, and I'm mainly referring to the activation boxes, that accuracy portion is what I infer to. And I think judged upon your vids that that is something important to you. While the Force FX lightsabers are hugely inconsistent (the fact that I had to buy and return the Black Series Luke Ep4 ANH lightsaber 6 times to finally find one that I could settle for (and settle is the right word) I still collect them for the fact that they are part of the offerings available to the Star Wars collector, are a Star Wars licensed product, and despite their flaws try to at least hilt design wise try to stick to accuracy even though they don't always succeed. Also, Obi-Wan is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, so I guess I could be a bit biased in that respect. Anakin's/Luke's/Rey's saber was my favorite and it is very close between these two sabers. Who knows I could change my mind tomorrow though:)

I still have an EpIII Anakin Skywalker master replicas saber from 2005 and that one's my favorite but this Obi Wan saber looks great AND comfortable to hold. I haven't gotten any of these new black series ones and this Obi Wan saber is definitely tempting lol.

Jose Urrutia It is accurate until you get to the thick neck. I really wish Hasbro could of found a way to make the neck thinner so it could be more screen accurate. Oh well...I guess they have their reasons.

Philip Alexander There are only noticeable if you are within a few inches of the saber while it is on. Once you back away they blend together quite nicely. In my opinion I prefer the look of the blue blade over any other color.

Bruno Grsic Depends on what you are looking for. For example, do you have a favorite character or lightsaber design. All of these sabers are great, so it really comes down to personal preference.

Shakira m. I purchased it at my local Walmart, but the only had the one and I have noticed it is much harder to find than Luke’s ROTJ saber. They had about 5 of those at Walmart last time I checked. ObiWan’s is much nicer in my opinion:)

Todd S These sabers have LED strips that run the length of the blade. If you look really closely you can see the spacing, but I wouldn’t call them dark spots necessarily. If it looks like you have LEDs that are not illuminating I would return it.

i just picked up they rey and was wondering the same thing. so far, it is the only one i have. I would not call them "dark spots" but i would say that it looks a little....odd. Im assuming that it is one of those things that you dont see in videos but do notice when you are there in person. I wish I had a second one so i could put my mind at ease. Im also trying to figure out the best way to use the stand which seems a little cheap. I dont want to warp the blade. Your videos are fantastic and Im definitely subscribing :)

Matthew Urban Yeah, in person up close all of my Force FX sabers show the spacing of the LED light strips, but are harder to notice a few feet away. The Rey training saber is my favorite for now. May the force be with you:)

The blade is not replaceable, but Hasbro is releasing a Force FX Elite Kenobi saber with a removable blade, which does look cool especially with the display skinny neck emitter. I’ve bought them at Walmart, GameStop, Amazon and Big Bad Toy Store. You can find older ones on EBay, but they are pricey.

This specific saber is really hard to find. Most of the previous waves of these sabers are hard to find as well. Vader’s, Maul’s, and Windu’s are on Amazon right now and on online @ Big Bad Toy Store. At the moment they cost anywhere from $150.00 to $180.00. There are 3 new Black Series sabers coming out this summer: Ventress, Dooku and Kit Fisto. They should be available in a lot of places. Walmart, Game Stop, Target and Big Bad Toy Store will be selling them and are supposed to be available fairly soon.

It is hard to find now unfortunately and you will pay well over the original price of 150 dollars. I saw some on Amazon for 400 and up.

They retailed for $150.00 when originally released. I believe they only make a limited amount of each wave of sabers. I’m guessing that is why they appreciate so much. This saber specifically I have seen go for 500 to 600 dollars on EBay🤔🤪.

I've done my own research saberforge and I'd recommend you not to actually fight with it, as their sabers with thin neck are apparently fragile to shocks but they're pretty interesting sabers.
