“Thillana”, the final item of Bharatanatyam Margam, is a pure Nritta piece, where the virtuosity of Raaga is reflected in complex and vibrant footwork of the dancer.
Here I am sharing some excerpts of a practice video of Thillana. Set to Simhendramadhyama Raaga and Adi Taala. Choreographed by my Guru Vidushi Prabha Kini. Composed by Madhurai N Krishnan

Thanks for watching my videos. There really is no age bar to learn something. It is a wrong notion that you are old and it's difficult to start now. I have students who started practising dance at 51. So I don't think age should matter. Hope you find a suitable teacher very soon. All the best 👍

It was really Awesome ! I generally like Tillana for its fast beats and rhythmic movements. Your movements, balancing and landing were superb. The song rendering, Choreography, background scenery, and "Tailor made stage"...are AWESOME ! Ha.....I liked your perfect sideways movements very much ( is it called Arudhi ?).... 🙌🙌.
