Expecting a perfect depiction in a film shows you aren't considering the MANY reasons that an accurate depiction is not possible. For one you'd need a flood so large and catastrophic that filming it would be impossible...so there's that. That shouldn't really be the point or purpose in watching someones film sermon about genesis, whether the boat looks satisfactory. They have a budget, and it's not like Marvel and Disney money.

He sent them into captivity/slavery WITH SHIPS (Deuteronomy 28:68) for not keeping the covenant. You have the wrong ones. Plus scripture says when His people get back to Israel, Israel will be at peace. Worldwide exodus of them leaving the lands of their captivities is in the future. that's why when recommending someone to read the Bible, it's best to read Genesis, then go to the new testament in John etc. Nobody new should be trying to read those old testament books first.

I used to feel the same, but this time, God made it so clear how important it is to account for all generations from Adam. It validates all scripture and traces the lineages of the 12 tribes of Israel and the lineage of our Savior, Jesus Christ! I read it with a new respect and understanding of how our Lord preserved His word for thousands of years. Thank you Jesus!

Mark 13:32 and Matthew 24:36 are an idiom in reference to The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah). He was telling his disciples exactly what day "the end" would come.

It worked well for a while until I realized, as I did not know, the time element of what a day is (or a 24 hour period), is told in the Genesis story. I simply had to take the story as truth, and move on. I struggled with the different Bibles' as time continued, seeking out the "real Word of God, (G-d) and began with the 1500's Bible. A daunting task as I am elderly.
