My sealed bearings on my bob trailer are not turning well. The problem is that the axel is not removable.

I had thought remove axel , use a drift to knock out old bearing. The bearings must press in and trap the axil. So what's the trick?? I'm old and not as smart as I used to be. Woppes

Put the bearings in the freezer and use a torch or even a heat gun to warm up the axle where the bearing goes and it will fit right in

This was not converted. It was always a sealed bearing hub. 👍👊

Is the size of bearing same or varies from bicycle to bicycle

It can but since the axel is standard in these vintage bicycles I would imagine they're pretty much the same. Always measure the inside diameter of the middle hole and the outside diameter as well. Also measure the thickness. 👊👍
