DON'T go off of annual!!!! go by monthly (4.33 weeks per month). Find out what it will cost the customer per night, multiple that number by how many nights per week you'll be cleaning and take the number of nights per week and multiple by 4.33 weeks to get the customers monthly cost.....then multiple that by 12 and you can bid annually or however else you need. IMPORTANT - If you are bidding a school ask them for a calendar of when students will be onsite, once you identify those number of days then ask for days they'd like you to clean in addition to those days for example.....summer school, summer camp, days when just the teachers will be onsite etc. When students are out of the school for multiple days in a row that's a great opportunity to get floor work done, deep cleaning and or high cleaning. Good luck all!

I do .25 cents a sqft. x times that by 40,000 SQft = $10,000. That's a hell of a lot of floor..:) (2) 5 gallon of wax 2 5 gallon stripper. that should give an idea.

Hi there,I've just registered my business and there is an opportunity to bid for a huge office with 275,000 sq ft. I REALLY want to s bid but I am extremely nervous & scared with so many "what if" thoughts. I don't know how to calculate the cost and while I was searching for an answer I came across this video which I found very useful (thanks so much). But I am still not sure how I would calculate the how many hours per/day/week (as the example of 8 hours/week used in the video) it would take to clean. I was wondering if there are any easier way, template, the guideline that I can user? I would really appreciate any feedback/help.
