Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ally US president Joe Biden have rejected the ICC chief prosecutor's bid to secure an arrest warrant for the Israeli leader. Netanyahu unleashed a personal attack, comparing the prosecutor to judges in Nazi Germany. Biden also called the warrant bid "outrageous". Interestingly, the US president had supported the ICC's decision to issue an arrest warrant for Russian president Vladimir Putin over his war in Ukraine. Biden had called that decision "justified" and "making a strong point". Though the US does not recognise the ICC's jurisdiction, it is helping the court's investigation into Russian war crimes in Ukraine. What explains Biden's double standard on the ICC? Third world lovers from their non-existent "Global South " who think that Russia supports Palestine, obviously forgot that over 1 million and a half of israeli citizens are russian-speaking citizens, many of them with dual citizenship, and that economic ties between the two countries are strong. The latter is also true of China. Basically, no state in the world actually supports Palestine (and certainly not arab regimes) except Iran. Israel uses its supports. Its supports use Palestine.

Hamas turned all of Gaza into a military zone. they spent 15 years building out hundreds of kilometers of tunnels with shafts leading to mosques, schools, homes and hospitals. Yes it's not the same. Putin was charged with one made up crime that he kidnapped Ukrainian kids. Netanyahu is charged with 5 crimes including war crimes and crimes against humanity. Netanyahu killed over 15000 kids while Putin killed 300. Netanyahu is worse.
