Since Biden took office, there seem to have been more unfavorable results in America. These results include effects on the markets, such as price declines and sharp increases in inflation, as well as bank failures. Peter Schiff looks smarter and more prescient with each passing day. I was doubtful that his predictions for a surge in the price of gold in tandem with surging inflation would come true. But I am a believer now. His criticism of Jerome Powell is also spot on; Powell appears to be as clueless about the the inflation problem as Schiff has claimed him to be. Just look at oil; it is currently threatening $90!

The SPR should never be tapped unless the regular supplies of oil are completely cut off (Arab oil embargo V2.0) and the oil is needed to provide mobility fuel for the military or to bring in a harvest. Additionally, once the oil is released, it cannot be sold for export. Unfortunately, the SPR has been tapped every time the smallest hiccup occurs in the oil supply.

Even folks who live in relatively safe areas are seeing steep increases in their premiums; it's like a stealth tax. Meanwhile, insurance companies are fleeing higher risk states like California and Florida leaving homeowners to fend for themselves as another crazy summer approaches. It's a great big mess.

After 20 years, you're finally right!!! That's right, I've been following your work for 20 years!😂 I always knew your premise was correct, but timing was horrible. Rome wasn't ready to fall. We still have a chance for one more cycle, but I'm not sure if Powell and company have the wherewithal to go far enough to get us there. How about using royalty payments from drilling and mining on Federal lands to pay for the SPR refill. Strike a deal for new drilling permits that take crude oil at a set price as payment. Oil and Gas companies get new territories opened up and the SPR slowly gets filled. Too much sense, the government will never go for it.😢
