imo the issue with BZ isn't really the alpha its that they went so crazy in every other category. Having high alpha is a fine gimmick as long as there are enough drawbacks such as pen, dispersion, reload, etc. If you are going to lets say give it higher end pen then drawback in other areas like armor, mobility, or even flexibility by reducing gun angles making it harder for them to get shots on target without exposing weakspots. BZ just simply has too much armor, pen especially on the HE, and mobility with the boosters. It isn't ever gonna see the nerf hammer though cause WG sadly has the mentality that something has to be put on the highest of possible pedestals to get large amounts of sales.

For me outpost was a good map. You could play sidescrap, hulldown, snipe from the back, take the middle, push towards TDs, there was plenty of options and personally I liked this map. So the only good change is this house covering that balcony. But good doesn't meen necessary

I don't have Outpost banned yet. That privillege goes to Airfield and Mountain pass. I had Berlin banned before, but their changes to Mountin pass made me have it banned instead.

@@corriemooney9812 thats because map bans only work for the basic random battles gamemode so assault and encounter versions will still come up. I have always thought thats really stupid, but what can you expect from wargaming.

Personally I give Outpost an 8.5 out of 10. Solid map, but a really good enemy scout can ruin the field side, and tanks in the castle can make pushing the heavy side impossible.

Are we sure about "towards the end of the year" for the czech lights? Summertime would seem as the perfect time to release a tech tree to grind because people are off from work etc more often.

Outpost is 9/10 map, its versitile, pushable on every flank. There are some cool angles and every tank can find its place on this map. There is also prize spot that is the castle and reaching it is influential, but not as much as on Mines. Map is big and thats also very good thing. Both spawns are pretty balanced, so i can just say that i really enjoy that map!

Interesting video. The XM57 looks interesting. It is going to need the experimental equipment (turbo/rotation device), but packs one hell of a punch for tier 8. Armor values will need to be looked at once it gets closer to release. Overall, I am surprised, but i am actually looking forward to this one. I'm not sure about the rocket medium, that will be a wait and see tank. I like the changes to Outpost, you missed the fact that they also changed the heavy section so that if you're in between the buildings, the short access towards the water now has a slope that you can get down to the lower level. t may even be that a powerful medium, or fast light, will be able to go up those slopes? That would be really interesting. Either way, these improvements will force more close action fighting instead of camping and sniping. I think it will help the battles on this map and make it much more interesting to play. Thanks for the news!

Outpost is a great map. But now WG will close off firing channels with obstacles again to make it a corridor map.

The average WoT player does not have the mental capacity to think about being shot in the side, everything must be bang infront of them, or the poor derps get confused.

It was always a corridor map, you don't need actual walls to make a corridor you just need killzone with tds overlooking to make it a map with basically 3 lanes through which you can push. This map is basically Abbey.

xm57 is t8 baby E3 prem and has better gold pen than some t10 hvy's, and isu-152k is 750 alpha with similar rld and pen.. maybe 650 alpha ts-5?

For me i score the outpost map is 5, because every single location are having potential to be shot at from almost everywhere, especially when trying to pas to certain posisition in the map.

Adding the extra spots on the North/West side of the map are not in any way equal in comparison. The rise on the Southern end allows to much of a reach to attack that tree line as the one North is behind that tree line and you may never reach it. So in my opinion that change would not make for anything but adding to the advantage the North spawn has over the map. The adding of the house cluster next to the river once again helps the Northern spawn push in easier, and let not forget that this also is another middle finger to arty.

I have no problem playing Outpost, but I normally prefer light's and medium play which is a good fit for this map imo. There are other maps better suited for heavys which I do ban because I hate playing lights on those. Like Ruinberg and Paris.

Personally I like outpost. It's one of my favorite maps. This is a map that you can easily snipe or brawl from so it doesn't matter which tank you have.

Map changes look nice. I don't bother blocking maps. Already a small enough selection as it is. Wish they would make the ones they removed usable and add them back. The light and TD look interesting. Don't care about the med.

Why would anyone ban Outpost when maps like, Oyster Bay, Airfield, Paris, Siegfried Line, Ensk and Mountain Pass exist? I've had the first three mentioned on my blocklist for a very long time, and the rest need major reworks or outright removed from map rotation.

current ban for me is Ensk (which needs to be a tier 1-3 map only) Provience (same) and Paris (just not crazy about it) I never seem to get Outpost, so I think I've played it like 5 times. not enough to hate it, lol. Not sure we need more rocket tanks....ever.

I don't know why they brought in the Outpost map. It was one of the worst maps in the recon mode and resources would have been better spent on any of the other maps. That being said the changes look like they will be a great improvement.

Outpost definitely not the worst map. Nothing is worse than Airfield/Mountain Pass/Paris :P Berlin is also worse. My banned ones are: Paris, Mountain Pass and I rotate Safe Haven/Airfield/Berlin in the third spot I mostly play lights and meds.

I have Berlin on the blacklist, but Outpost is almost as bad. As soon as WG tells us where TD's go, and Heavies go, and where Light tanks are to go spot, etc..... then you know the map is total crap.

Just looking at the map changes, once again Wargaming seems to be neutering any good positions for TDs, and favoring Heavy Tank players for up close battle. Got to get the games over quickly and maximise profits I guess! I much prefer maps with options for all play types, but recent map changes have been about blocking TD positions, reducing foliage, and favoring HTs.

270 pen at tier 8 with 630 alpha is crazy !!!! the agerage armor value for heavy tanks at tier 8 is 250 ,giving 270 pen at tier 8 is not gonna be good for anyone ,that leaopard 1 pen at tier 10, while grille have 330 with gold

about the VZ 71 line. I dont like this line. i think it will be really toxic tanks to play against, maybe on the same level as arty. I would prefer so much more if they continued the ShPTK TD line. That tank is so much fun. The low alfa, high dpm, rotating turret + the god like HE

Outpost is average map for me, but those changes seem fine. Oyster Bay, Corridor Pass and S*itfield are in a dire need of changes though

Jesus christ.. I mean whether it'll make outpost a better map or not aside those changes to the port region look so bad and out of place visually! The massive rock they added at the hulldown 'broken bridge' position as well. I already thought mountain pass looked like a patchwork job by now but this is taking it to a whole new level lol.

Wg needs to make it easier for free to play players, like small amounts of gold at the end of a battle as well as more credits, I personally am free to play and am stuck. I rarely have premium days and thus mak low credits and xp so cannot progress.

There are MANY maps worse than outpost. What this game desperately needs is some new maps and fast. I've stopped playing due to boredom with the repetitive rotation of the same old maps over and over and over again.
