Well this island is a great kick-off point to the rest of the apostle islands national Lakeshore Check Into excursions and outfitters to see if it's better to leave from this island or Bayfield

Great park yes bring your bikes to explore the island. Put your coolers up at night first time at Big Bay we had a very bold raccoon that opened our Coleman cooler for a midnight snack.

Racoon is better than a bear
