Incase you haven't noticed janis is connecting with the music that is being played they played together and had the same feeling therefore she didn't make the band she was apart of the band and that is something that you need to respect

Well I think Janis is what made Big Brother complete. I really never would've heard of them and i don't think they would've went very far without out her. Js

Oh man..I am really digging Sam Andrews and James Gurley up!they are becoming one of my favorite guitarist man!=) But anyway.. its interesting how each of the band members have their own view about Janis joining the band..i think Sam Andrews is the closest to Janis though,Sam or Dave I guess.

Wish i could have met her. People were sooo mean to her. Wish she would have went to rehab.

PS: James Gurley, who wanted Janis out of the band, also moved in with her and almost broke up his marriage. He went back to his wife, but she died from a heroin overdose that he injected (See his wiki). He was charged with murder, and successfully fought the charge.

There just weren't any good kick ass songs from this band. Seriously. Piece of My Heart and maybe Catch Me Daddy at best. They should of been writing quick kick ass songs and ditched the long slow strung out frisco sound if they were gonna have Janis singing. They were plenty good enough to play songs similar to Jumpin Jack Flash or Fortunate Son with Janis screaming and raging rather than all that boo hoo crying slow crap. I really think it would of changed history if they had done this from the get go with Janis.

Yeah. Or imagine her singing some of the songs that Led Zeppelin would later do.

@@jarelllevingston7882 Exactly Jarell. They had for sure the vocals and guitars for that style music.

yeah well janis was the best thing that ever happened to big brother, and I think that the people that despised her were full of shit and obviously did not see musical talent.
