What a great video, seeing you so happy and content. You are further down the road that I am travelling. My husband of 31 years has left me and I’m feeling devastated, but have figured that nobody is coming to save me I have to be my own hero!

I’m so sorry Mel… I went through my divorce over 35 years ago and often have wondered which is less painful. Being left by our husbands early in life ( with four little girls), or latter in life when you’ve invested so many years in him? I suspect neither. You got this! As Berne Brown said “ you are now WITH yourself”… rekindle THAT relationship… my thoughts are with you today

Please can I put in a plea for the wasp and its beautiful nest. Look at how much work went into making it and, as you say, it is so beautiful. The poor wasp gets such a bad press but they do actually do a lot of good in a garden. I do understand your dilemma as you are allergic but it is not too close to your front/back door and you could keep the window above the nest closed. I’m afraid you would have to move your table and chairs though. I have lived with wasps for years now without being stung and I recently had a nest in my garden tool box and both the wasps and I were able to use it together amicably. I think they sense when you mean them no harm. Whatever you decide I know it will be the right one for you.🐝 Super video and I’m glad you are feeling so much better.

I don’t know if you’ve heard of Kibbe Image IDs, but im a bit of an amateur stylist in that system. It is a bit different than the general body type system but it’s VERY in depth. Anyways when I first started watching your videos I couldn’t help but type you, hope you don’t mind! I always saw you as a kibbe soft natural with a classic romantic essence. Anyhow, adore your videos! So Glad things are starting to get better for you! Gives me hope 💕

Thanks for another great video Jess, you have inspired me to look at my body type and how to dress for it. I found out that I have a pear shaped body, and some of the styles that are suggested to avoid made me think 'i always felt they never suited me' - so a lot of validation towards my style intuition!! Now to step away from styles that look gorgeous on others that i know (in my heart) don't suit me.

All your new pieces are just beautiful, especially the off-shoulder blouse. I have leather shows that I've owned for 10 years or more and they are still going strong. Much better quality and much less environmental impact than plastic shoes - which is what 'vegan leather' really is.

Isn’t Hope a little pickle?, exploring in the other garden and chewing your shoes, yes we know that’s what puppies do. I am all for individuals being allowed to make the decisions that are right for them, whether that is what fabrics to wear or what food to eat . Both of the white tops are very pretty and suit you so much. The black boot cut jeans are very flatttering on your lovely figure. I am SO happy that skinny jeans aren’t the dominant shape anymore.

I recognize you're thoughts about how far the vegan lifestyle needs to go to fit your life. I also made the decision to only buy leather shoes pre-loved. Where I live (Haarlem, the Netherlands) we have a very good second hand shop that sells beautiful high quality (brands) preloved clothes and shoes. So I found 2 leather pairs of shoes there, and am enjoying them so so much. And loving your CW experiment, the bootcut jeans are on my list as well! Excited to hear an update on how you're feeling in your new CW items in a while. Love Jess

I loved this video so much, I’m still trying to find my body shape also, I feel like I’ve always just assumed in pear but not so sure now. I do have broad shoulders too, I actually didn’t ever wear strappy style vests either because I just didn’t like how it felt. Loved all the items, you look really happy in this video too can see a shift in you! Xxx

So the best and most in detail guide I know of is Oprah’s. Maybe take a look at that one. Thank you for the kind words. Even if you decide to go against what you ‘should’ be wearing I think it’s always a good idea to know the rules before you intentionally break them, same with any kind of art and dressing ourselves is no different xx

Thanks Jo ❤️ gotta break the rules sometimes right 😉 yes still using the lash serum so I’m the full 3 months in now which is when you’re supposed to see max results. Honestly put the LVL to shame. I’ll be repurchasing for sure, but then I’ve hear great things about using castor oil too which is soooooooooo much cheaper 🫤

I think you and I would be great friends if we were part of each other's lives haha. Literally this past week has been awful in regards to my mental health, and it all started with my first full-blown panic attack. Somehow I don't mind being vulnerable on here as no one really knows me and yet I know I'm not alone in this. So neither are you Jess x Also I've been super into dressing for my body shape and skin tone recently too! A friend of mine is very knowledgeable in this subject and has helped me along. Now I have a better criteria for how to shop for me personally and it has helped me shop more minimally and intentionally instead of simply following trends and shopping at whim. Love the jeans, you look fantastic xx

If the wasp’s nest is removed or for next year, there are fake wasp’s nests you can buy (kind of like a paper lantern in that shape) that you hang up at the start of the season and it discourages them building a new nest in around an 80m radius of the fake one since they are territorial apparently.

About body shapes, do you know of the Wonder Wardrobe method? It was invented by Daria Andronescu, she has a KZfaq channel and an online course. Basically, she's a personal shopper and she decided to dress her clients in a way that is harmonious with their body shapes and proportions, rather than correct that shape, if that makes sense? It's a work of acceptance and embracing, and the result is lovely harmony, so I think she's onto something

So I have quite a few income streams which is an intentional part of my business so I can have a lot of variety and I’m not reliant on just one thing. There’s my physical book sales, my ebooks, brand partnerships, freelance writing, affiliate links and Adsense for views on KZfaq. I sometimes do speaking gigs too. Hope that helps xx

Thanks. I keep looking out for a beach cover up and the tunic looks great. I'm a size 10 so hoping small will be right size. They look like they are big. I'm taller so don't mind if little shorter as I will just be wearing as beach cover up and maybe style with denim shorts.
