Such a cute Parisian apartment! 😍 Can't wait to see how you'll decorate. I wonder if a small cozy love seat or oversized chair would fit in the main/kitchen area. Maybe by the bookcase? I'm really looking forward to vlogmas! A silly but fun idea might by a day in the life of Hope. She's adorable! I would definitely watch that. ☺️

I would definitely miss a couch myself. There's the bed ofcourse but something in the dining/living area to relax in as well would be a must for me 😊

It is so spacious! Happy for you. I would paint all the coloured walls white to bring it closer to a Parisian look and then add the necessary trimmings and mouldings in a rental friendly way.

That is a very sad story, they only had each other and no one left in the world to care about anything they ever held dear...I fear this for all single people without siblings or at child, and couples who never end up having children and are perhaps very distanced from any remaining family...what loneliness. It's too bad they decided to remove all fireplaces, living in Paris a long time ago, I can remember how great it was to remove the cold and the dampness from out place by having a good fire going....much happiness to you in your new space, you have young knees, you can still do without an elevator!

Love the apartment, and look forward to how you make it more, your space. Adore the bedroom with the linen curtains and bedding, and the mirror is amazing, I wish I had a room big enough for something like that. Cannot wait for your vlogmas and I'm going to find out my signs never knew there was such things. X

Just W.O.W. so fortunate...amazing no clutter. Of course a wee loveseat would be great. No bathroom at all---like not a shower--omg I just could not share showers AND worse toilet haha. So your kitchen sink would be used for i.e. brushing teeth - removing makeup View outside is epic...not a balcony nor window seat option there I guess--maybe something could be created-fashioned-built that bumped out into bedroom as more room there. Then you could have a window seat of sorts. It would be all new wiring so you could have a small scale free standing air conditioner I was thinking if needed. Your Miss Hope is soooo beautiful. btw are you top floor--you have to climb many levels of stairs I think. Great exercise

If you only have hanging space in your wardrobe-I used to put a malm dresser into it to have a place to store my folding clothes, etc

Wow Jessica the flat is SO NICE and fresh and new which is so rare in Paris, its absolutely perfect, you did such a great job with the decor so far and also the update i saw on IG on the kitchen, you have such a capacity of decorating spaces and make them so dreamy, im definitely inspired to do it too in a new space I'll have to find too in my next adventure ☺🙏

Ahhh Jess! I'm so happy for you! Love the pink and pretty green combo. It is very natural and calming. The one bright yellow color is very abrupt, but love the light, clean lines, and airy rooms. Can't wait for vlogmas!!!!

OMG! We have identical book taste Jess. Just finished Good Material LOVED IT!!! My fav bits was from Jen’s perspective at the end. When she described her friend Sara getting pregnant I was like ‘THAT!!!!’ Listened to Tom Lake over the summer, it is Meryl Streep who narrates it. Such a warm hug of a book. Your apartment is adorable. I don’t know all my signs but I’m Cancer.

Lovely apartment but we must remember that when we rent.. the place is not ours. Enjoy but without attachment. My sister lives in Cannes in a beautiful rented apartment. The Landlord decided to sell - price was unaffordable so she had to vaccate. She decided not to rent again.

Also had very traumatic xmas last year, full on nervous breakdown after what husband did to me. Been ill ever since with countless serious health problems . I already have complex PTSD and it is now even worse, so very triggering this year but in terms of your shopping love to see the lovely xmas packaging on confectionary and food. No country does it like the French.

Love your apartment! Can I ask if you have a stove or microwave. It didn’t look like you had anywhere to cook in the kitchen. And do you have a tv anywhere?

no tv, which doesn't bother me at all. I have a hob and microwave but no oven, which again doesn't bother me. glad you like!

there's a stovetop on the counter but it's black so you can't see it very well...there's a microwave too

The fridge is under the hob but you can't see it well on camera and it's likely she has a microwave oven hidden in the cupboard up top which is classic Parisian style.

Please don’t let your dog go up the stairs without you by his or her side. If the dogs head fits btw each balusters, that’s all you need to see in order to determine the level of danger for your dog. Dogs just like people can miss a step or tripped on themselves, lose control of his movements and end up dead on the first floor. I don’t mean to be negative but…. Would you leave a child by themselves on those stairs?? I don’t think so…So why leave your dog??

I've just discovered your channel and subscribed a few days ago. I was watching the one where you did your mood board a few years ago. Such inspirational I've always do one each year but this time I was struggling and listening to you saying it's not the end goal but the process in getting there was an eye opener. Which made my goals...I have 10! seem much more achievable so thankyou. I've started from your very first intro video and im making my way through them all bit by bit but there are some gaps from 2020 to now. Have they been deleted or am I looking in the wrong place. In one of the videos your doing a bedroom makeover...beautiful by the way and you refer to a previous video but can't see it?
