I spent alot of Friday nights watching these guys. It was part of my growing up.

Growing up watching Houlihan and Big Chuck, never realized I would have ended up moving so close to Houlihan. He and my Uncle were friends way back and they both ended up here in Clearwater,and I came down to visit in 83. Loved it and moved here and went to school here. It has changed very much since those beautiful times. Way too many people here now.

I grew up watching Hoolihan & Big Chuck in Sandusky. OH. Was sad to see Hoolihan go to Florida, but stuck with the show. These shows were great! I miss them & would love to go back in time to experience them all over again. I got a chance to see them play an exhibition "basketball game" in Sandusky at our high school to raise money for a Jaws of Life for the fire department. These games were played often, throughout the state. It was the first & only time to see them in person! Got Hoolihan's autograph that night, too!

I loved that show when I was a kid. I remember waiting for the news with Dick Goddard to end to watch the show in the 70s.

As a kid growing up in the 70s me and my best friend would watch this show every Friday night.When my dad passed away in 2004 I moved out of the area and could,nt get this show on T.V.Im sad to here that they called it quits, but on the good side they gave us some humor and some laughs along the way, and now a days I think we all could use a dose of that.In short, thanks for the great run, im glad I was able to see it all or most of it anyways, unfold on T.V.

great show--loved them when I lived in Akron during the 70s--sorry to see him leave, makes me feel old!

i've seen both guys three times. the first time was at my school in 1989, second time at the IX center in 2000, and the third time at the brook park homecoming event in 2004.

As I watch this, I miss Stacey Bell and Bill Martin. She left Cleveland after I did in Jan. ‘07, and went to NY & Bill Martin retired around ‘17 or ‘19 I think and is in Sarasota, FL, not to far from me in Lakeland, FL. Stepping on the gas getting older!

😭 we had Cleveland 8 broadcasted in Columbus at the time, some time in the 90s Columbus got their own fox station and it stopped.
