What will you be doing on Wednesday 8th May 2019. It’s a public holiday. Will you be having a braai, laying in bed, visiting family?
Or will you be placing an X next to somebody’s face on the ballot. In the hope that your vote will empower honest leaders to create a better life for you and your community?
If so, will you vote based on historical loyalty? The colour of your skin? Policies?
Are you thinking about voting AGAINST a party to teach them a lesson? Or will you be spoiling your ballot to show the country just how gatvol you are. Or organising protests instead.
Does opting out actually work? For every person who doesn’t vote, the majority required to WIN the elections gets smaller. In 94 over half of the voting age population voted for the ANC. At the last elections, only ONE THIRD of adult South Africans actually voted for the ruling party.
Does your vote count and how should you use it?

the last guy is talking nonsense, if I struggle for four years and more in university to get a degree and get a job and drive a German car how is that the work of the ANC? he says we blame the ANC because of anger, did he ask himself what is it that triggers that anger? my brother I thing you should've just kept quiet.

5yrs later South Africa is in a worse state I wish the panalists could give an insight because what the MK party did they wouldn't have seen it coming

35:39 you are putting the cart before the horse. I’m a country with 50% of population living in poverty with child mortality rate 8 times more than Australia, you need to focus on poverty first, not even all of it but the lowest decile. Lasting progress comes with incremental measures improvement, not asking for everything all at once and blame games

15:15 Singapore? I’m sorry but it’s hard to believe SA can go the path of Singapore. Singapore didn’t start a cultural revolution nor “decolonized”. The national language is English and people don’t live in the past nor different communities. The majority Chinese Singaporeans don’t push minorities around nor threaten to take their businesses or properties from them. I can go on, but I recommend you travel to Singapore to see for yourself
