This week we meet up with some channel Members and go prospecting on the East Branch of the Swift River in Byron Maine on a very hot spring day. Also we add another nugget to our nugget giveaway case and draw the winner from last week!

When I was a kid in Maine, my mom would give us garlic everyday. Apparently when you perspire the black flies don't like the essence of garlic! We would also take some pine needles, break them up a little bit, and put them inside our hat to keep them away. The garlic on the scallops should definitely help! Thank you again for a fun video!

Another great video!! Enjoy your humor!! My favorite scallop recipe is dredge scallop In flour mixed with Cajun seasoning and then wrap in a half slice bacon and secure with toothpick and you can bake, pan fry, or microwave! I’m sure with some of your special honey on top be a winner!!

I would have to say one of my favorite meals is pan seared bacon scollops with chopped fried red potatoes and fiddle heads with salt pepper and butter! Great videos and can’t wait to get out on the East Branch to do some prospecting!

We make cook fiddleheads on this trip. It's coming in a few weeks. It's the first time I've tried them. They were great. Stay tuned.

Many years we were camping with the kids at Coos Canyon campground and went panning on the Swift river. Lots of fun, found some color in the pan, great memories!

Get out of your shell and go gold prospecting! What seafood tasty gold lives in a shell? -Scallops. Did you know scallops have blue eyes at the edge of there shells. When they see danger they can move quickly away by scampering with their moving shells. However these babies were either blind or didn't get the memo! It's Bean a great meal with those flavorful huge scallops in the pan. It's a honey of a meal...way to go.

A few drops of Neem oil on the hat or campfire stone will be able to chase flies and mosquitoes, and it is not harmful to wildlife. 🐝 love Scallops💛🤟

Wouldn't you know it. I've been recommending scallops for a long time. And I fall asleep before the episode begins. Looks like your buddy was on the gold. Running a sluice box will always end up with more gold at the end of the day.
