Good Morning Steven - Great Job last night on the Podcast - You’re ‘Stronger Than You Think’ - Honda HRX Tips (12 yrs with mine) - Filter: saw dust on deck; some of that does get into the filter too; to extend filter life . . . whack it on Patio Steps (dirty side down) when filling with gas; - Power Drive: when lawn is wet, especially in New Grass . . . Adjust Speed so that the Wheels don’t Spin before mower actually moves forward (you will loose new grass and make ruts that won’t fill-in; and/Or Manually Push to start . . . Then engage Power Drive; - have a great weekend.

I put one on my HRN and it was pretty easy. I did use a wrench though for the inside screws. I got some pretty damn good stripes and was impressed. I cant wait to next year spring/ summer when I can let my TTTF grow to 4 inches!! Thats where its really gonna shine!!!!

I have the same mower and luckily didn't have as hard of a time putting the kit on. Thank God. I really like the mower and striper combo but turning the thing around is a pain sometimes. Very heavy. I leave the bagger on even when I mulch, seems to stripe even better

I got a kit on 3 mowers. Best striper made. Durable, best looking stripes. I have honda hrx i put one on, it was a bit of a pain

You would think that as popular as Honda mowers are that They would make it a lot easier for the installation of the stripping kit. I feel your pain but at least you got her done. Congrats.

Very nice mower I was on the fence about it or the toro super recycler. I went with toro but I still drool over the honda. If you can run enthonal free Gasoline do it cause enthonal in the gas brakes down over time. I run the truefuel in the gray can in my toro no matter how long it sits she always starts.

Well brother if you HAD to do it for a living you would have all the right tools to do the job even if they was special order tools. Did I hear you say if we needed help to call you? LOL I have a good Craftsmen (not anything like the Honda) but rear wheel drive, one arm adjustment for all for wheels and I contacted them about a kit for mine and no response yet. I'll give you a call when it comes in. i'm sure a good man like you would drive half way across the country to help. LOL Yard is looking good and if you hear something that sounds like a man trying to install a striping kit from KS it's just me. HA

How hard is it to maneuver on turns and when you mow on the sloped portion of your yard? I have a similar slope and wondered if the added weight would make the mower slide sideways.

It’s rear discharge instead of side, put it on bag and take the bag off, discharges by your feet! Lawn is looking absolutely prestine

The toro kit for toros is more expensive but easy, no drilling, and allows you to add/remove just by sliding on. The convenience pays for itself after time

Sounds like that kit was a afterthought design. They should make it easier for people to do it.

I was about to cry installing mine on the same mower. But then getting it off on days when you don’t want to strip is challenging until I got a quick connect from jimmy…

Their installation instructions are terrible.
