She is literally insane in everything she's in, I was just thinking how she's the only one who can make me think that that character is real person usually in the back of my mind I'm just "its acting" but with her, she just always pulls me in.

I remember watching her on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and thinking she was terrible. But she’s actually a good actress. She just needed the right material and the right directors.

Shailene's monologue at the end has me mind blown!!!! That's the kind of thing you can't verbalize or even realize internally until you hear it from outside of yourself. I need to pause, digest, rewatch 36 times, and then get a my sh*t together!!

This the one thing that really, truly bothers me about the series vs. the books. Madeline & Ed’s marriage was perfect in the book. Everyone in the book (during the police interviews, even from Madeline’s POV) thought Celeste & Perry had the best marriage and were the perfect couple, but it was really Madeline & Ed. They argued & bickered (it’s Madeline), but she would’ve never cheated and he was never aggressive or argumentative towards her or Nathan.

I think it’s interesting in season 2, after Ed found out about the affair and she was begging for his forgiveness, she was still thinking about the time she was with that other guy. I think she has some unresolved feelings for that other guy and she doesn’t want to admit it. Curious to know if we find out in Season 3 that Ed took Tori up on her offer. I think the chances are slim he would cheat on Madeline but you never know.

Amazing women, amazing series. I'm sad the episodes are so short. Nicole is once again shinning, she doesn't need much and shows so emotion just with her eyes. Shailene has been such a nice surprise, love her portrait of Jane. Laure Dern is fab, a little bit over the top, but doing a great job. Just can't feel great sympathy for Zoe's and Resee's characters though.
