I just discovered, it is apparently possible to take control of the other truck in the game by hitting tab twice while in a race. However, if you cross the finish line, you still get "You're Winner!"

Doctor Bane Must have been added recently- I've looked several times. Okay, so what happens if you take control of the other racer, and RIGHT before it crosses the finish line you switch back to your other car? Does the truck's pre-eisting momentum carry it over the finish line or does it just stoop in its place? If it does cross the finish line, does anything happen?

I mean, how could a dev release something in such an amazingly unfinished state? But, yeah, it's real! I know the AVGN reviewed a later version, where the devs fixed/adjusted a few things, but, not much... The patch wasn't worth much anyway. xD

Hey, Jadow? Have you ever played the sister game to Big Rigs? It's "Midnight Race Club Supercharged", if you didn't know. Think of Big Rigs... but with cars, the game following the laws of physics and rather than phasing through solid objects, you actually have a hitbox and collision detection. Oh, but they still didn't work out the speed increase by going backwards glitch.

I did actually get the patched version to run once. As it turns out, it DOES fix the sound... kinda. Music still doesn't play and one of the two sound effects doesn't work, which is probably because it's for crashing into things but the engine sound works. And humorously enough, the engine sound is a one second loop that increases in speed and pitch the faster you go. The sound effects are all basic WAV files so you can replace the engine sound with whatever you want.

James Evans Yeah. I heard some people got it to work, though I think those people have a real copy of the game. The music is all on the CD so unless you have the CD for the game (or you use a program like inmm_.dll) you won't get anything.

Darklordjadow1 I love it. the main character could be a physicist who never in his life believed in absolutely anything paranormal or super natural. Until he found this truck that destroyed absolutely every law of reality, and basically turned the world around him into an Eldridge abomination because it could move so fast it could cross into a different plain of reality. Turns out the truck is actually a magical entity disguised as a truck. Despite being the cause of the physicist problems, becomes his only hope to escape.

If someone in the comment section just so happens to be a physicist, can he or she tell us what would happen if an object like the truck in the video going that fast in reverse would do? I assume it would incinerate the earth or cause the earths axis to spin the other way.

(Keep in mind during this that I'm just a teenager) An object that size can't affect the spin of the Earth on its axis unless it's going faster than the speed of light to the sixth power (about 4 quintillion mph (slower than the undecillion mph "cap")). Though, that shouldn't be possible, as friction from the air and ground would cause the truck to burn up. The tires would burn away after a few seconds, seeing as they're standard tires and those can't last for a minute with someone going 200 mph. Ignoring all this, the truck would probably create a wormhole, causing the entire world to end.

The thing with Big Rigs is it's clearly just a VERY early build of a game that somehow got released. It's not so much that it's a bad game, it's just unfinished. That said, I feel like if it were finished it would be incredibly unnoteworthy in every way. I'd be curious to know the story behind this game's development and release.

I believe the name was first changed because of the movie World War Z, but it is not Infestation Survivor Stories or whatever anymore either. They changed the name again, this time to Romero's Aftermath (I know..), not sure why, if spotty memory serves it was to try and reset the bad critics score. What is interesting though is I found that while I can find this on Steam, I can no longer buy it, neither is it in my library even though I played it at one point, when it was still War Z or whatever. I only remember that it was so buggy and glitchy that it constantly had me in stitches, what made it real unplayable however was the rampant hackers and cheaters..

Turns out this game has a sequel! Made from the same engine. Its only about 2% better, the thing fixed: there is collision, the opponent moves (but still can not finish), and the vehicle is no longer terrain ignorant.

It's not really lack of testing. It's just quite clearly a game that's been released when it's only about 5% done. It's not really bad, it's just horribly unfinished.

I've seen this game reviewed a few times but this one was by far the funniest. So the same guy who developed that piece of garbage Day Z. I feel some urge that he should be put in prison, I'm pretty certain there was some illegal stuff going with Day Z. At the very least I want to see people who actually seem to be violating the copyright laws get hurt for it.

+dragonstormx They were taken down either last night or sometime this morning- when I was editing the video. I just checked and their KZfaq Channel is back up. I'm guessing a legion of pissed off fans marched onto KZfaq's various communication channels to let them know shit-heads or copyright bots have wrongfully taken down their channel for the hundredth time.

What Jadow doesn't know is that that the director was told to make this game by aliens. True fact. I learned this astounding information from watching ancient aliens. A show that uses the biggest degree of logic and in no way is a total joke and waste of time. It's true I say!

***** It's true! I learned on Ancient Aliens an completely credible show that scientists who are never actually shown believe that aliens killed the dinosaurs! And that aliens are the ones that told Leonardo da vinci to paint the mono lisa! And they used the most convincing CG and not CG from the sci-fi channel to prove their points! Genius! I had no idea that aliens are actually people from the future that mastered time travel! All of those amazing facts that were actually stated on a show that was actually put on the history channel must be a sign! I'm telling you that show is the answer to the worlds problems and certainly not a group of desperate money grabbers that trick gullible people into watching their trash.

***** I'm offended that you call a show that states aliens told George Washington how to win the Revolutionary war by giving him visions while he was sleeping is in fact, garbage. Without giving context on what or why the aliens helped america in the first place or why they appeared in his dreams as Indians riding a horse.. I would show a classroom that show if they want some REAL history!
