I like watching your videos, as I spent my younger years at mile 27 of the Alaska Highway and did my second year High School in Dawson Creek, and third year High School in Ft St John. I used to work for a company as a Flunky doing pipeline maintenance. I learned a lot about high pressure well heads and if I had stayed with it, I would have been a pipe fitter, wielder, Heavy Equipment Operator and Mechanic. I liked it because no two days were the same type of job. Not like truck driving. Of course we could pick whatever we wanted to do. However, in those days, you would have to sleep leaning on your shovel and if need be stay out for three days. Ft St John was a rough and tough place to grow up.

So what’s a flunky doing pipeline maintenance? So if you had stayed with it you would have become a pipe fitter, welder, heavy equipment operator and mechanic? You said you could pick whatever you wanted to do, what did you choose to do?
