I love that Amy at first was just like Sheldon and as the series went on she grew into her own personality and I’m happy the writers changed her in a good way

This was a logical move. They both have autistic traits and females are far better at wanting to adapt to societal standards than guys are. That's the reason it was long believed that autism occurred more in males. Only it isn't and for that reason it can be a lot more difficult for females to get diagnosed, especially as adults. Frankly it's kinda weird that no one was ever portrayed as aspies (high functioning autistics) as every cast member save Penny has behavioral traits that could be applied to aspies.

@@wormwood8191Finally. Someone other than me has seen the Autistic aspect of Sheldon, as this part of Sheldon's character has been so blatantly obvious to me for ages. What's also been making making me wonder for a few yrs now, is that would Chuck Lorre, or whomever they are, that are the ideas people behind Big Bang / Young Sheldon be Autistic themselves or know someone with Autism? As i honestly think it would be almost near impossible to have the idea of, design, write, etc, a character with Autism or with Autistic / Neurodiverse in general qualities and have the actor(ress) pull that character off right without having any self reflected , or personal background knowledge of the Neurodiverse mind. Like, i'll equate it to someone going in blindfolded and just deciding one day to build a car just because they've seen a car and everything under the car's hood before, but they don't have any background knowledge in mechanics , and neither do they have any books or internet to help guide them as well.

You know......I forgot how much Amy has changed since her introduction. In the beginning she and Sheldon were WAY to much alike for the relationship to be dynamic, she was basically his clone. As she developed and formed friendships with the other group members she became her own person, while still being the other half that Sheldon desperately needed!

The best couple of the series. I love how patient Amy was with Sheldon. And how much he values her, he immediately corrected the idea was theirs when she said it was his during the wedding. Which was such a big thing for him. Him refusing to accept the nobel without her and making efforts for her, like connecting with her family. Trying to be understanding of her feelings. He was indeed the best among the guys and she definitely was the best of all the partners.

Move on chick....(* Wink*) Leonard overhears in the canteen, And grins with his mouth full of food. " Well how about that, Ramona?" Howard says, "welcome fair maiden to our table!" It were very sad when Amy and Sheldon broke up in the beginning of season 9, but when they got back together their relationship became stronger than ever which led them from living together in Penny's old apartment, to being engaged and getting married by sharing their love for each other in front of their friends and family❤. Sheldon and Amy were perfect for each other since they first met.

The way Parsons made Sheldon's grating, nasal high pitch drop to a honeyed murmur after he got aroused during the train kiss, like goddamn that's some fine acting. It's the same voice he did when reassuring Amy that she didn't need to be nervous during their first time in bed.

Its so sweet watching how Amy changed. To be honest I feel like she may have always been the person she was towards the end, but her past experiences of being bullied and not being able to find love made her build up a wall and put up a robotic kind of personality. Finding Sheldon and then making girl friends allowed her to be more expressive and human again 🥲 Season 4 Amy totally reminds me of myself, I feel like I've shut myself off from the world but a part of me still wants love and friendship/ human interaction. I've kind of given up now, but Amy makes me smile and gives me a tiny sense of hope ❤ Side note, but I didn't realise Sheldon has interrupted more than one of Amy's dates omg 😂
