The internal rotation of the shoulder while doing side lateral raises is the causer of shoulder pain. Doing that for a long time, internally rotate the shoulders is that what's gonna make your shoulders bad. Try to externally rotate, lean a bit forward, and "dont pout the water", but your thumbs should point upwards. No hate, just trying to help. Great job and hard work, Rich! Keep doing that, but be safe with your health!
