Just a little friendly idea, when you cutting that plastic for the bottom rockers, use a jig saw , the blade sticks out ,making for easier cuts!

I always love the videos where they do wrap stuff (Since that's what I do for a living). We hardly use primer, because it's a pain to get off when you actually have to take a wrap off a road vehicle in a few years. But when we have to remove a wrap we didn't do we always joke about someone putting it on with a paint brush lol! Glad to see Joseph going for the dry application, once you get used to it you won't go back to wet installing!! Keep up the great videos!

Hey guys. Try cutting your rocker panels with a table saw with the blade installed backwards. Smooth and straight as an arrow.

I’ve gotta say, I’m a massive fan of adding the white on the spoiler ends and plastic along the bottom. Just adds a little bit of contrast and looks so clean in my eyes

When it comes to cutting the plastic I prefer to use an air powered die grinder with a cut off wheel on it. It makes a lost of dust but its a lot easier to cut then with shears.

I own a sign shop and what I’ve done in the past with plastics is to take a torch and flash off the release agent that is used in the mold. Be careful to not warp it, but you can see the release agent flashing off and then wipe with isopropyl alcohol. I’ve never had a problem. You could keep a piece you’ve cut off previous wraps and try a test spot and check the adhesion. That primer is for certain problem areas not for a huge area even though it works in that way. Give it a try! And for sure no water needed if it’s an air egress wrap material. Hope that helps!

We cut ours rockers with a cordless grinder and a cutting wheel. cuts like butter

I use a Milwaukee cordless grinder with cutting blade to cut rocker panels. Makes it much easier to cut plastic

Hey, heads up guys. I build composite airplanes for a living and we use that very same primer 94 for certain things. WEAR AN ORGANIC RESPIRATOR! That stuff is nasty. Our guidelines go something like 40 hours per filter for normal respirator use. The number drops to 30 minutes per filter when using primer 94. No joke boys. I want yall to go fast for a long time to come.

been a longtime subscriber I don't always leave a comment but I want to thank you for including the tape primer because I had some issues with the vinyl graphics peeling up on some cornhole boards on orders I made last Christmas! Keep up the great content and GO Team HTF !

I would use a small cigar nap and roller to apply the primer...JS Congrats on being a part of History Jesse. Being as it's the biggest ever 602 race. We'll be Hootin for ya for sure !!?? HTFnatioh

You can use a heat gun to “activate” the Primer 94. Also doesn’t hurt to post heat the whole wrap. Helps the adhesive bond better with these air release medias.

Grab yourselves an oscillating saw with carbide blades and it will zip right through any plastic or sheetmetal you need it to! Plus it can do plunge cuts. Works great to straighter cuts but it would work great on those skirts! Love the videos, good luck this weekend!!

I use the 3m tape primer every day at work. Once it’s stuck, it’s stuck lol. It’s good stuff

Cut them rocker panels by turning a skillsaw blade backwards and it works great.

Just a little FYI when you're cutting with that shears. Don't lay it flat on the floor get it up because then that bottom tongue will work better that comes from experiod.

@@Carbogarbo42 you can race if you have won super late model events. Even 604 races. I won 7 super late models at Dixie Speedway, North Georgia speedway & Talladega. I’ve won over 30 604 races and I’m eligible and signed up to race. You can’t race this event if you have won a Super late mode race that was Sanctioned so if you’ve won a SAS, Lucas Oil, WoO, ultimate series super late models you can’t race. But you can have won as many super races even $10,000 to win super races as long as it wasn’t a series event that time you won. Same for 604 races. If it’s just a 604 track championship paid $5,000 to win and you won your still eligible to race this event.
