League Titles: Pep: 11 Mourinho: 8 Ancelotti: 5 Carlo is a legend, but there are other trophies that count, and his league performances with a series of top teams have left a lot to be desired - he's still never won multiple league titles at any club.

@@Fmfcg Exactly one. Pep and Mou would also win titles at PSG and Juve/Milan, and at a better rate than Carlo, who won 1 of 2 in France with a team who outspend the whole league, and just 1 across 10 seasons with AC Milan and Juventus. Carlo has had a great career, and his UCL results have been spectacular, but his league performances have been undeniably poor compared to other great managers, the only reason he's won all the different ones is that he's managed more clubs in more places.

Honourable shout for Forest should be Brennan Johnson - he was unplayable in a few matches and, for his first ever season in the Premier League, he did really well. Forest would have been dead and buried without his goals at key moments. e.g. double vs. Leicester at home, goals home and away vs. Everton for a point each time, goal at home vs. Leeds that won 3 points and a goal at home against Wolves for another point.

Definitely agree with Danilo at Forest as he has been absolutely superb once he got a brief rest after joining us straight after finishing a full season in Brazil. He needed the break, but once he had been given his chance you hit the nail on the head as he has been absolutely superb. I realise Morgan Gibbs-White has already had a full season last year out on loan from Wolves but that was in the Championship where he was clearly the best player at Sheffield United, therefore this year was his true breakout full season in the Premiership, however he is 23 and was Forests best player of the season voted by fans despite his price tag! He was absolutely superb and deserved all the accolades though sadly he didn't get the England Call-Up that his performances deserved or warranted, especially the one against Manchester United when MG-W had Casemiro in his pocket until Casemiro snapped and injured him thus putting him out of the game in the 70th minute, from that point on Casemiro ran the game and Man Utd won the game after MG-W had to be subbed off injured! Thankfully he was able to shrug off the injury as we were all seriously concerned as to how long he would be out for as it looked to be a bad injury too! I must admit, I can't even remember if Casemiro was even booked for the crippler of a foul that he used on MG-W for which he really deserved a Red Card as it was a really rather dangerous tackle! Great video as usual and very informative too! Wtg!

While any Eagles supporter would agree that Ebere Eze has had a fantastic season (especially since the return of Uncle Roy), I feel that his breakout season for us was actually 2020/21 and Michael Olise's was the season after. Therefore, my suggestion for Crystal Palace breakout star of 2022/23 would have to be Cheick Doucouré

Correct answer for Bournemouth is Phillip Billing. He had 3 previous PL campaigns for Huddersfield and Bournemouth, but looked much improved this past season and was involved in most of Bournemouth's attacking moves. Yes, he had 2 good goal-scoring seasons in the Championship in 2020-21 and 2021-22, but scoring 7 in 36 in the PL is a very decent record for a midfielder, particularly for a mid-table side like Bournemouth - he actually scored 1 more goal than Solanke!

Jensen has really gone under the radar. A LOT of people said brentford would be in a relegation scrap this season, whcih if you know brentford is a hilaruous prediction. But there was an issue in midfield with a lack of creativity. It seems like jensen absorbed a lot from his time with Eriksen snd registered 5 goals and 5 assists which is a very respectable tally for a midfielder.

As a PNE fan its good to see Archer and Iversen on the list aswell as a frustrating reminder that for the last couple of seasons some of our best players have been loan signings. So having watched him in the 2nd half of the season it wouldn't at all surprise me if Tom Cannon is Everton's breakout player next season if he isn't sent out on loan again. Everton don't seem to have much, if any, money to spend this summer and given their need for a striker I'd be amazed if Cannon doesn't break into the first team next season.

I'd have considered Joe Rothwell as an option for Bournemouth. Half our fans (me included) wrote him off before he'd played a minute for the club, but since he's started playing regularly he's been one of our best players, him and Lerma worked so well in the midfield and allowed our attacking players to shine. Gonna be interesting to see how he does next season with Jeff leaving, but he's been a heck of a free signing.

As a Newcastle fan I have to say I'm a bit surprised at Sean Longstaff not even getting a mention here, as I would place him even higher than Almiron in the list of our many breakout players this season. Shlong went from a bench riding squad player and our 5th or 6th choice CM last season to an undisputed starter in a midfield of a team that reached Champions League. The man was incredibly important for us, the few games he wasn't there Bruno and Joelinton looked very questionable in their aggression without Longstaff to cover for them.

Perspective is an interesting thing. He started 24 matches in the PL. He had 25+ league starts in each of the last 4 seasons at BVB, even though the Bundesliga season is 4 matches shorter. He was subbed in 11 times for Man City this season, more times than in all of his 5 season BVB career combined where he was supposedly a "benchwarmer". He's played 39 matches at CB and only 2 at both RB & LB. An outside centrehalf in a back 3 is not a fullback. 2 matches don't make a world class defender. He has world class physical attributes, so he is obviously looking more impressive than he is. But his concentration and his decision-making puts a ceiling on him. I'd be surprised if he could play on such a high level next season.

Off tangent but I remember 10 years ago when 32 million was kind of the cusp of big money & what you'd have to pay to get a really good player i.e. Diego Costa now that's money that buys you someone English to meet the quota or a risky 1 season performer from abroad

Fun fact no one has scored in the champions league earlier in their career than Rico Lewis having just played just over 90 minutes of professional football before he scored

I’m surprised you didn’t go for Emerson Royal at spurs. Not been the best for a long 2 years. But this year he really picked up his act in the second half of the season, even to the point where we struggled without him due to injury. Sarr has been a young star for us, but I feel like Royal would pip him to the post in terms of break out star

I understand can't know every team but Fulham (our) best player this season was João, Tete, or Leno. The fact you have honourable mention to Solomon as well, discredited the video for me, as if they got Fulham wrong I wonder what other fans for the team think also.
