I've always made sure to put a small decorative lamp on my kitchen counters. There's something so warm & cozy & snuggly about a soft lit lamp in the kitchen, especially during the crisp fall months and cold winters. Walking into the kitchen with its soft glow in the background on a cold winters night to make a cup of hot cocoa and grab some snacks is simply a peaceful and wonderful feeling. Ugh..idk what it is about it, but I encourage everyone to at least try it and see how soothing it really is 😊🍂🌲🍁🍃

I'm all about lamps and cozy lighting. The soft yellowish lighting under our cabinets in the kitchen with a big rug and small lights in the plug ins are just so cozy. Lighting makes all the difference in my mood.

Hello Kiki, I have to say this was a good video. There were 3 items that stood out to me, because I have them. The first is the large Fire King pie plate. I use this to make large quiche. The 2nd item was the blue lid, that you thought were missing pieces. Well it is missing the bottom, and it is the lid to a butter dish. And the third item it a Floating Candle Bowl. You put fake floral inside the edges, then fill the bowl half way, and add tea light candles. It came from a candle store called Infusion. It was here in the malls, in Baltimore, MD. I use mine every holiday, starting in the month of October for fall and Halloween. It is really pretty at Christmas time. I usually go to the Dollar Store for all of my supplies for this dish. I hope this was useful to you. Can't wait to see how you use these great finds.

It is a tooth brush holder. Thank goodness for us elderly. Yay you and Jarvis can add a game night to your uno night! The blue glass you thought may be a cheese cover you could get a wooden round and place under the blue glass. Beautiful bedside lamp.

OMG KYLIEEE! I am so glad you're doing these thrifting hauls...PRO TIP : When you go to Goodwill etc and you see something that catches your eye but you don't know why or if you'll go back to get it...PUT IT IN YOUR CART AND CRUISE AROUND WITH THE STUFF TIL YOUR DONE. I DO IT AND I ALREADY KNOW SOMEONE IS GONNA THINK IM A JERK BUT SERIOUSLY. OK WHY am I yelling?! Anyway also ASK your Goodwill store if they have the punch cards. They will punch out a spot for every 15 you spend. Within no time you'll have 12 punches and you can used it for 25% off your next entire purchase of stuff. I usually save them for like furniture items.

Pie plates are awesome for making layered dips. We use ours to make 7 layer taco dip and a dip for apples that’s cream cheese mixed with powdered sugar spread on the bottom, a layer of caramel, and a layer of crushed Heath bits, it’s to die for!

Wow great finds! Your collection is beautiful. I would suggest sealing the books in plastic wrap and placing in freezer for a bit.....this will eradicate any 'pests' that could be hiding.

I have my grandmothers pink depression glass my Mom passed down to me that my grandmother collected from the grocery stores, if they went out to dinner..... You would get a piece for so many items when you purched groceries and if you went to diner you would get so many pieces.... So as my grand parents shopped or ate out the slowly collected an entire set and I am fortunate to have had that padded down to me..... I have the set displayed in an old China cabinet that lights up and and mirrors in the back, glass shelves and glass doors..... The pink depression glass looks absolutely STUNNING when the China cabinet lights are on!!!!

You need a big hutch in the dining room to display everything! The cloche is my favorite find! Works great to cover left over food for later.

I'm loving all of the vintage glassware & home goods hauls!! Are you going to get a buffet or hutch for your dining room to display everything? If you do, try to find little black lights to put inside the cabinets to light up the uranium glassware. It would be so beautiful!!!

I think that amber glass is a chip and dip bowl. You need to try and find the metal piece to attach the two together. 😊

I feel like my grandparents would have a ton of stuff like this! I actually got a huge coffee set from a 60's collection that is extremely desirable to collectors here in Sweden. People pay hundreds for big sets like that and my grandma just gave it to me when she was decluttering lol. Btw, when you put all those glass things together at the end I totally see why you like them! The different colors look gorgeous together.

I feel like you're raiding my house from the 80's. lol I used to have so much of the stuff you bought. In the 2000's I got heavy into red crystal so swapped out most of the amber and blue for red crystal, which I love. Something magical about colored glass, esp. cut glass with a lovely design. And, of course, 500 years from now people will still be using Anchor Hocking and Pyrex stuff. lol Those are great things to hand down to the kids.

I’ve been searching Goodwill for a vase and just can’t seem to find it. I’ve even gotten a few clothes items, but the vase is my white wale. Trying to find some other household items to go with the industrial, boho theme in my new home I did find a cool antique chair for my daughter at a local thrift store. Love your thrift haul.

You can easily sell on eBay anything that you don’t want to keep, dépression glass and glass in general sell really well on eBay and sometimes, for a very high price. Just don’t let your cat 🐈 around them, or you will have nothing left for you or to sell :-) I learned the hard way with my own cat, and it’s my job to sell vintage things.

The darker amber glasses were the same as my mom's second glasses we used every night for dinner. Her original dishes when she got married had green glasses. When I was in high school or college, she bought some corning water dishes that had gold trim. She found the brown glasses somewhere. She eventually found some that were beveled that I am now packing up at the house now. Ours are well worn from the dishwasher.

The apple is what teachers get for winning the Golden Apple Award! The award honors teachers each year who make their classrooms a creative and safe space for students. You should try and maybe find the woman, or her family, and give them the apple back! It might be a nice gesture for them :)

My mom had so many depression glass pieces but one day she decided to put it all in a yard sale for like 50c - $4 a piece. She also brought it out and used it during Thanksgiving.

I mean you adapt other people dresss style so now we get to see Kylie the true Kylie. I love glass ware too! It is extremely expensive when you buy it brand new. Like casserole dishes and pie please. Lemon aid pitchers and butter dishes. Colored glass is beautiful that one dish that is flat and oblong I think is for asparagus. I am so excited for you and the new house.
