I will always be a Gleaner fan. I am 55 years old now. My fondest memory is riding with my Grandpa in a Gleaner. Being so young it was the only thing that would stop me from crying. Sleeping on the floor as Grandpa was thrashing was the closest I have been to Heaven. If i could trade anything for just a moment to be back there i would.

started with a L2. Great machine . Then went to an N7 . now we still use an R72. I am a big fan of the Gleaners.

I really like the way the Gleaner combines look the last several years.

I grew up running Gleaner combines on the family farm. Grandpa started with an AC 100 self propelled, then a super 100. His first Gleaner was an F followed soon thereafter by an F2. He traded that in on an M2, which is what I learned to operate around 10 years old. The M2 was replaced by an L2 which we used for several years. The farm currently has an R65 which has been fantastic and will stick around for a while yet. Love seeing the silver machines in action!

I used to ride in a Gleaner in southeastern Washington. Wheat harvesting with my great uncle Ken in the mid to late 80s. Such amazing memories. Thank you for the recall this gave me.

I grew up on the Palouse hills of eastern Washington driving GH Gleaner combines...wish Gleaner would bring back the hillside machines to the Palouse again. The GH's and MH's were wonderful combines!

That’s one of the best combines. Great to see them work in the field and the fact that they’re one of the top rated machines for not losing green out the back I don’t know why we don’t see more of them

This year was unusual for me. Instead of a Gleaner cutting behind my house, it was a big shiny Case IH that looked brand new. It was also a different guy running it. They cut, raked, bailed, and stacked on July 4th well into midnight. No celebrating for them. The next day it was heavy rain. Honestly it was more exciting than fireworks to me haha!

I agree with the comment about the most underrated in also derided I guess you could say. I'm a small farmer in Western Pennsylvania and I use an old f2 and Allis Chalmers turbo diesel on it I ran it today and spells we also use it for wheat oats and shelling corn. I am not in a position to be buying half million dollar columbines so I found this one it was in reasonably good shape at a local dealer I'll run it for about 5 years we made a few minor repairs all I can say is for for my size and what I do with it it's a fine fine piece of equipment. That's not bragging on my prowess as a buyer either I'm used to red paint but I wanted to preserve my straw because we been a bunch of beef cattle on it all winter and I need it much as I like the international rotaries I don't like the way they leave the straw. Typical of any combine you got to walk around with a ranch once in awhile and a grease gun but it has served me well so far I'm thinking the old girl might see me through the retirement

We run a 2006 gleaner r55 in wheat beans and corn and absolutely love it.

I remember when I was a kid, I rode on a combine with someone that ran a Gleaner Combine. I don't recall the model, however I believe it was like an S7 or S8 model.

That’s a huge power boost! Question is if agco knows how well these combines perform. Why don’t they size them up? Keep the same designs but make them bigger in capacity and horsepower.

A gleaner combines set right u can get the down to 0.2% on dockage and zero losses we've had a m2 an r40 and have a r65 the r65 been set up to a class 7 plays with a 30 draper like its a toy

I'm not sure there's a difference working on one machine to the next.

Where are the X9 JD's??? They've been advertising them since 2019??? Im a product of the 70-90's farming... New Holland made ground breaking progress with the TR series in 1975, I was 12, and our farm switched from a 915 IH to a TR70. We had a soybean seed business, and the TR's didnt crack half the beans into splits... We were sold... IH was on their heels, Im assuming they also had that single rotor in patented at the time... But because of logistics and dealer relations we did start buying IH Axila Flows... So Im biased Im sure. Dont JD, Claas, and Fendt have class 10 machines out? Im a CaseIH fan,,,, seems JD has spent 4 years trying to launch that X9,,, Fendt is so new, just watch Mikes vids.... Claas doesnt import the "big one" to N America... so Ill leave it at CaseIH... and JD, 9250 and S790 FTW!!!!
