Rear shocks? Cut the bottom mounts off and weld them forward on the swing arm. This will add considerable ground clearance.

If your keen you could move the top mounting points back a bit an fit a stiffer spring but i think your bump stop idea would be fine for Nay being much lighter. Great update vid take care Mark.

I think those rear shocks have 5 adjustment positions for pre-load adjustment. You might want to check to see where it's currently set. The higher the position (3-5) the stiffer the springs. Be sure to adjust one setting at a time and don't jump several positions at one time as that may damage the shock. You may not need to change it much for Nay's style of riding but if the guys end up riding the piss and vinegar out of it a lot (like I would- lol) you may have to find another answer. Anyway glad to see the video Mark but mostly glad to see you guys loose and enjoying the fruits of your labors. Christmas Cheers!

I have same bike, 2003, was a guy's project bike. Has lithium battery an moved it under the seat an got a tiny little air filter. Got rid of the side thingys, shits pretty clean I wish I had a photo of it up somewhere an could tag along with it, nobody ever has these bikes it seems

I had a blast riding with you guys. The bike looks great and sounds great too. Best ride I had looking at my iPad to date.

Mornin Mark from the cold desert of Arizona. I suspect the bottoming out problem can be solved with stronger shock springs. I am pretty sure the originals are pretty sprung by now. Clapped out, shall we say?
