Nice tut, as always. Just some additions: You can drag a parameter directly into the custom par creation dialog. It will set name and range automaticly. You can also choose if you want to bind or refference the new parameter as an expression. Second is about absTime.seconds for the noise animation. This works on the shortrun, but can get sloppy over time, as the python is going to chop of decimals the bigger the number gets. So for long running installations this will become a problem. Instead try to loop the noise, using a 4D noise. Simon Alexander-Adams created a tutorial showing that technique very nicely.

quick tip for navigating 'in and out' of parent (BASE) by using keyboard shortcuts: press 'u' to GET OUT from parent; press 'i' to GET IN to parent.

hey! great tutorial! you are being such a great help for me in my way through TD! is there a way to customize the location of the "my components" folder? IE: pointing it to a dropbox folder so i dont lost anything just in case?

Hi is there any shortest way to map op bypass and cook/uncook button into the parent parameter window than using a chop execute ? thx a lot !

Hey, at 7:53, I'm not seeing background color (its black) I'm seeing different colored stars (they are changing brightness tho)

I put all network in Base1 COMP in order to save it in .TOX for later. Then I tried to create 2 float Controls for colours in Customize Component window of that same Base1 COMP, in order to bind them to Ramp1 TOP "Hue" colour, but couldn't bind. Does not compute. There is no such apparent option to bind the parent* control float, to child Ramp1 TOP "Hue Colour No1./No2." :( Maybe I discover this possibility later in my learning curve, smrch. WOW this tutorial learned me so much, grateful 💖
