Protip: After a bath/shower, just slather yourself in lotion after you've towel-dried but are still damp. You'll lock in more moisture and you can get it everywhere easily super quickly because the water makes it easy to slick around. Then just air-dry for a few mins. This tip is actually super helpful for really dry skin, the extra water really makes a huuuuge difference in how your skin feels a few hours later. Side note: am white but female and my grandma lectured me on taking care of my skin really early, and also my childhood bestfriend is black and I actually can still recall the memory of him explaining the importance of lotion for black skin (in his typical comical way) as we was lotioning up before we ran off to do whatever.

I be lovin’ the lotion. I need it up here in Canada. It is winter six months of the year. We have spring, summer, fall and lotion season. If I holiday in Mexico over the Christmas break, the minute I get off the plane I am leaving a cloud of flakes as I walk up the airplane bridge. Actually Christmas wouldn’t be right without a Costco size bottle of lotion in your stocking. With all the white folks up here in Canada, myself included, only half of what you see on the ground is considered snow in the winter. It be ashy. Thanks Shaq great stuff as usual.

I did not get how it was possible to not know about having ashy skin if you didn't use lotion . I'm white and i keep lotion in all my bathrooms in addition to having a bottle on my desk at work. Whenever age comes up, people tell me I look younger than I am and I say that I put use lotion on my face and apply it gently under my eyes. White people (other men especially) almost always look confused. Iliza Shlesinger - Confirmed Kills (anything from that - it's on Netflix) is classic.
