Chinua Achabe is a very intelligent man. His thinking is relevant until today. How can a colonial regime teach Africans democracy.

Wise man, wise words, honorable life. Great example of how to see clearly the light of hope in a world of darkness.

It's not that they just embraced democracy, they embraced capitalist or bourgeois democracy. Athens was a democracy but the slaves couldn't vote. Capitalism cannot develop advanced capitalist economies in the former colonial world, the capitalist class in these countries is too weak. All the talk about democracy but not a mention of the capitalist system of production. Achebe touches on this when he says we didn't have the type of democracy in Westminster. Nigeria had a dictatorship. Capitalism imposes a dictatorship on the so-called newly independent nations. They are not independent of imperialism and cannot free themselves form it.

Thank you so much for you informative videos. Stay blessed and safe always. Our lives are like candles in the wind. Treat everyone, in the way you want to be treated. Karma never loses an address, and you will reap what you have sown. Solutions: Harvest the organs of All rapists, murderers, and traitors, and the other evill criminals should be deported to the wilderness of Alaska and Siberia ONE way. Please help non beggars. All of us have our stories, but some of us listened to God and the elders. Your family is Free, and death is the final rehab, if you are not strong enough to lock yourself in a room, with trusted family, then a hard head makes for a soft behind, I will be 79 in October and the threats and disrespect of some was not tolerated, when I was growing up. We did not allow anyone to kill our people, or they would have been dealt with instantly! R.I.P. all who felt they could beat their demons of all types . The demons will win, and will not care about you, family, friends, or strangers. Many people are brutally killed before birth, and at all ages. Thank God for the years you have survived, and just obey his laws and not satan. RESPECT is the name of the game. Hands are for helping and not harming. Put a d before anger and you get DANGER! Get vascectomies and tubes tied. You cannot afford babies. The Stimulus should be $30,000 to each household, and $2,000.00 per month to train online for online income. SCAMDEMIC!
