I’m glad they changed butchers character from the comic. This is such a better alternative for his character on the whole versus the comic where he’s just completely callous and ruthless about everything related to supes.

In the comics, Butcher basically commited genocide on supers, and then Hughie killed him after being gaslit by butcher. Seems like Billy's send-off will be a lot more noble in this one. Especially if he ultimately does fail.

Hughie has his hatred aimed at A-Train, not so much HL And Frenchie, well Frenchie is a huge hypocrite and a lapdog Kimiko just hates V And Starlight, well starlight does have a huge dislike for homelander and has justifications again the deep and a-train So I think either butcher dies and starlight somehow kills homelander, which I think is ludicrous unless she "amps up" again or Butcher does infact get the killing blow on homelander Still quite a bit to cover though so I'm gonna dote on it

I think that was a great choice, but what I would do if I wrote for the show is have Hughie and Annie raise Ryan. I wiuld have Hughie show his serious side by accepting the responsibility of carrying on Billy's legacy of policing the supes and Annie, I think, would be capable of being a great parent once she accepts the role.

Season 5 is confirmed, but how would they make it if Billy dies this season? I think the Compound V he took will maybe save his life, but I dunno. Show won’t be the same w/o Butcher. Hell, it barely feels the same rn. What w the romance between Frenchie and Kimiko being completely scrapped, Starlight and Hughie feeling more like a bro/sis relationship instead of an actual couple. And Simon Pegg’s character is in a fuckin’ stroke induced coma! This season is rocky as fuck!
