He came from a family that didn’t have money…and he gives away plenty of what he has now. He actually just gave away a large donation to hurricane victims in Florida, and also gives a lot of money to help music programs in schools, and also animal rescue charities. He’s never forgotten his roots.

I played drums in LESLIE WEST THE VAGRANTS and we played with Billy old band The Hassels.Along with The Young RASCALS, Vanilla Fudge we all were popular New York groups.His booking agent Dennis Arfa is an old friend. EVANGELIST ROGER MANSOUR MISSIONARY TO 🇭🇹 HAITI

Cutie? @ D. Smith I don't know about cutie, but I like his music and now question if that was his real hair in his youth. (Ha) What draws me more is Joel's giving nature, he gives back and shares his knowledge with any/and everybody who cares to listen. Billy, live long and prosper ( who said that ? ) Long after you're gone your music will still fill the ether and the hearts and minds of a new generation.

An oligarch is not simply a person of wealth. It's a person of wealth who holds considerable influence over government policies. I hardly think Billy Joel would qualify as an oligarch!
