As a kid I felt fortunate to have been exposed to this timeless song growing up in Hong Kong in the 80s (I've since moved). I loved it then, and hearing this live version after not having listened to this song in almost two decades, what a beautiful song to behold.

How so? He had top hits in the 80s, was mentioned in rolling stone magazine constantly..sold out tours and won a grammy. I think people say underrated, because they havent heard from them for awhile and think there music should be played every single minute of the day lol.. would that be enough for you? and he did it LIVE... not lip syncing over a recent recording, the vast majority of "live" performances you'll see are just that, they lay down a newer track and lip sync it... but he got distracted and interrupted at the beginning by the fans outside and if he was just syncing to a track it would have been obvious, he went out there and just crushed it... LIVE...this is one of the greatest performances i've ever seen...

All that Walla walla ding dang was designed to make people forget I suppose. The more experimental stuff was being heard in jazz clubs and garage bands were starting to do there own stuff. But times they are a changing constantly.

JUST BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!! This, from the man who had to be the very coolest dude to ever strut a stage singing,"When The Going Gets Tough". Now he is the coolest dude ever to have sat serenely on a stool, nurse a guitar and just "be." It is so good, it is almost like a lullaby. Many thanks to nana for posting this work of art.

I'll never forget this moment when this aired, i was walking to my office with a client & we both stopped & was mesmerized.... when we snapped out of our trance,we looked at each other & i said "wow", that was special........ Thanks Billy for the relaxed atmosphere afterwards which I'm sure helped seal the deal... financial sector for the curious

Why are people moaning about him looking old? There's hardly a line on his face. The only thing that makes him look old is the fact that he is pushing sixty, hasn't bothered to dye his hair and has it those long dreadlocks so that it's really obvious in contrast to his skin tone. If he just cut his hair and dyed it black, he'd look less than forty. Yet just because he's aging gracefully without hiding it, people are making sly comments. Seriously. Plus his voice hasn't suffered at all. Many singers start to struggle the older they get, but Billy sounds as smooth as he ever did. Marvelous.

Bill Vestal in reality you are not pretending when you try and look younger-looking old is just the body showing you that it does age-but the body can also inhance itself by doing certain things that can make you feel and look much better-just because you get old does not mean that you have to look and feel the part-the human body is a amazing creation-Ron Isley is another man you looks good for his age jack-black hair-beautiful teeth-the man has to be at least 80 years old and still attracts the ladies half his age-the human body is a amazing creation-be good to it and it will be good to you-you are only as old as you feel
