As a Midwest resident now and a former Connecticut resident I can tell you JUST HOW TRUE this all is east coast vs Midwest particularly the 4-way stops the blinkers and the “IT’S ABOUR DOMINANCE OUT HERE” that’s how I was taught! 🤣 🚘 Also the cops, someone’s gotta sit around for 4 hours and drink coffee & I’m wicked hung over 😵 My ACTUAL drivers ed instructor from Boston originally now in Michigan actually I think WSS LEGIT DRUNK the day I had my test! 😆 😵

When I took driver training back in1981, my instructor was at a minimum buzzed for every lesson. On the day of the license road test there were 3 of us plus the instructor in a 1979 Ford Granada. One of the kids needed one more lesson so he drove to the RMV and he had his hours. We went inside and a Registry cop said "George, are these guys all set?" He said "Yup." One by one we went out to the car, drove around the block, he signed the paperwork, and we all had our driver's license. I think the only test I've ever taken that was easier was a few years later when I went back for my motorcycle endorsement. He had me ride to the end of the parking lot and turn around without putting my foot down. Passed.

Back a long time ago (1970's) when I was learning how to drive, the instructor showed us how to take turns - if the tires aren't screehcing, you are going too slow. And what happens at a 4 way intasecthion if foah drivahs come up at the same time? Stop and go around the crash afterwahds.

Ok true story time. Daughter got lessons from North Andover Driving School (just outside Boston). Instructor had them stop at Dunks all the time. Once he said he was using the bathroom in McDonald's and they could see him inside sitting down and eating at a table while they waited 🤣 Later, the entire school was shut down because the owner was dealing meth and using the school as a front. Fun times.
