Billy Lane, Indian Larry, and Jessie James represented the very peak of Chopper building. What they accomplished as a group can of course never be duplicated now that Larry is gone. We shouldn’t morn that this golden age is over but be thankful that it happened at all.

Billy I have been watching all your videos lately, and I think you should consider teaching chopper building. You are a world calss builder that people remember, and you know how to explaine things so people understand them. I could see people paying big money to learn from someone like you who is highly respected, and can honestly teach. Have a great day Billy and God Bless You.

Hey Billy, Doc here of Doc’s Old School Choppers. No disrespect to any of our brother builders, but you have always built the most innovative bikes with that classic chopper look. You were the inspiration for the style after which I design and build my bikes. The King of New York is the latest example of a long line of your builds that stimulate new concepts. The hubless scooters are a breed that stands apart. I’m working on two hubless projects now “Black Gold” and “Born in Blood”…both inspired by your legendary builds brother. Say hello to your Sis.

I'm really enjoying how you have structured your videos; they are casual without being hollow, you do cram a lot of insight and info into them yet they feel natural... like we're just hanging out and you're telling me stories that teach. @@BillyLaneChoppers Yes Smitty was really a good guy, it’s sad that his gone! MAC is living just 0.5 drive from me, so we meet minimum once a week! Had a “safety meeting” with him and another good friend 3 weeks ago! The meeting lasted for 48 hrs, it was really funny……. I send MAC your best Regards, when I meet him tomorrow. He still have his old Panhead Chopper in his garage, and another original ( AMF) Harley as well! Your “King of New York” is gorgeous bike!!!! My knuckle chopper is in Spain, so I have to wait until middle of September to ride! I have an extra knuckle engine for sale, it is my Wife’s Engine that was placed in a very nice Trike, but she got sick, and Trike got sold, but kept the engine! The engine ( Knuckle Head 1946)only been running 350 miles, since it was fully restored, but been sitting for 20 years, it’s turned around now and then and are in good shape, do you have any idea of the value! It’s a 1000cc engine rebuilt to 1200cc 12v generator, brand new super E carburator! Ok Billy, if you ever come over to Sweden let Me an Mac know!!!! Best Regards Lars Blankenfjell

Yeah I love this bike, you got the original biker-style in your builds, and there's so little of that today..... everything today is just black wheels black frame, BFD. The Psychobilly Cadillac had to be my all-time favorite, since I rode a single downtube, 48-inch narrow Springer hardtail up and down the country twice. That bike was 10'6" axle to axle, and because of the single downtube, every couple of months I'd have to ratchet strap the neck back up with a pipe, LOL yeah I remember you here when you were in Melbourne, you built the best shit out of anybody, hands down. I hated seeing that bike on fire on that TV show. That shit would have won easily, anyway. My favorite has to be the Psychobilly Cadillac, hands down. Sorry I'm writing a book here, just want to say I'm really glad you're still doing what you do. Look forward to seeing many more bikes....
