I live in New Brighton, thanks for popping by. The band It's Immaterial even paid homage to it in the song "New Brighton" in 1990. It's on you tube and sums up the place at the time!!

Great video, very interesting challenge.

I actually pretty much completed this challenge a couple of months back inspired by you , I went from the Wirral to Chester ,took in the sights, got food then on to Wrexham to buy a second hand bike (sassy little vintage number😍) to bimble on, had a little bimble to the rugby stadium, back on train to chester, bimbled waiting for the Wirral train. Now I have a lovely little vintage folding bike I've fitted wicker baskets front and back and had many a lovely peaceful afternoon out with a flask of tea and a pastie, cheers for the inspiration mate👍really helped my mental health.

When I think about Chester Zoo, I think about The Macc Lads lol

I remember as a teenager going to Wigan Northwestern on a Friday evening back in the eartly 80's to watch the APT shooting through the station when they were testing it.

Your best video yet in my opinion Kieran! Did you come up with this challenge? It's genius! Promotes the railways, local businesses, history, culture and the added bonus of the timed challenge...get the most out of those day rangers, Bimblers! 37's might be your favourite but if you were a little bit older, the sound of a 40 idling at Latchford signal box about to tackle the gradient before the viaduct at 2am would be the soundtrack of your childhood! (I lived on St Mary St, Frederick street and my grandparents lived at 13 Grammar School Road, literally right next to the embankment.) Went to Our Lady's school which was right next to the railway..sorry babbling best wishes and take care mate
