I feel like the ultimate version of this should have been some kind of pie. Graham cracker crust, melted chocolate with chopped up pretzels mixed in, topped with the marshmallow fluff, then into the oven until the top is browned

@@LittleJerryFan92 To me he failed to recreate Teddy's Brulee by replacing the Pretzels with Graham Crackers. What he made was just S'mores while if he had stuck with using Pretzels it would of still worked and added a salty flavor to the dish changing the flavor profile.

Idk if it’s just a Texas thing or a me thing, but salt and chocolate tastes awful Edit: I’m talking straight chocolate and salt. No caramel or added sugar. Salted Caramel and chocolate is a gift from god. To clarify to Y’all I think the bitterness really clashes with the saltiness and it gives my mouth whiplash

Speaking of "s'mores", last night, I had a dream that I made a "S'mores Casserole" for Thanksgiving. It consisted of mini marshmallows, three kinds of chocolate (white, milk, and dark), and Lady Fingers biscuits. It was a weird concept, but it looked, smelled, and tasted pretty good. Like a new spin on traditional s'mores during camp-outs.

Fun fact: marshmallow is used to ease sore throats (the plant). Marshmallows (the candy) were created to make the plant (as herbal medicine) more palatable for children. The recipe evolved over time to become the marshmallows we know today ☺️

My aunt has always called burnt marshmallows, “Skeksimallows,” making reference to the Skekis from “The Dark Crystal.” It’s only become a thing because almost everyone in my family, myself included, is a horrible abomination that enjoys burnt marshmallows. I am very curious though what something salty like pretzels would bring to this recipe? I can’t imagine crushed up pretzels would make a good base on the bottom. But perhaps adding some sea salt into the chocolate? I have to imagine a savory note like some salt would taste really good with the chocolate or marshmallows

As he said, the best is if you want to add your own flavors/colors - I usually do a peppermint marshmallow with peppermint extract, then lay it on powdered sugar + crushed candy canes, then beat in a bit of red dye for only 5 seconds, allowing for swirls. this is great in hot chocolate w/ peppermint vodka

Nowhere in contemporary sources is it even alluded to it working against masturbation.
