"mobile coin and salts factory elizabeth" thank you... I'm so tired of how people laud Elizabeth as a strong character when she breaks no boundaries on writing or characterization. Her character is played so safe in the game, every trait meant to make her palatable and sweet the player. She's the quintessential cheerleader character to me, she exists to comfort the player and bend to the players will instead of being an active player in the story. People always said she was a female character done right, finally a female character who can take care of herself. But she's just a damsel in tower. Unable to save herself and needs the strong man to enter stage left for her freedom to be obtained, and then when the male characters are removed from the story she becomes directionless and dies 🤷‍♀

That game was 100% ham.

I mean, it's fine to dislike the game, it has its fair share of problems, but all the Bioshocks are pretty gory and violent so criticizing it for that seems kinda pointless? Especially when the game itself seems to intentionally invoke the hyperviolence to make a point about how violent men will always go for violent means if given the chance

I'm playing it now for the first time and it's bad. I loved the first two Bioshocks but even in those games the shooting was weak in my opinion. This is weak on every level. I thought I would get into it after the first few hours but it's really a bad game. Horrible shooting mechanics, combat is boring, world is boring, it's really, really bad. I'm even taking my time to try to listen and discover everything and it's irredeemable. It might be the worst triple A title I've played in a very long time. I'm shocked. That's why I searched on KZfaq to see what people thought since it won so many awards. It's really amazing to me how anyone could enjoy this game. Now I'm just pushing through it to be done with it so I can move on knowing that I did my best to give it a chance. What a disgrace.

I like how the game gives you the freedom to press something to sit in chair or give baby, but what's the point if you have to do that to proceed anyway and there are no other options

I unironically didn't enjoy infinite. I basically forced myself to finish it near the end and never played it again afterwards.

I very much enjoyed Infinite. I don't have a habit of analyzing my games though, so maybe that's why? I usually accept them at face value and either enjoy the ride or not. Infinite had a lot of surprising and interesting things in it that I found very enjoyable. The starting sequence is probably the best, but even the mind bending alternate reality stuff was really interesting and obviously the alternate history world was fascinating on its own. Oh, and I also loved the Luteces. So there! Take that you internet person!

I don't like the game. I think it's a bad game. But is nowhere near 'worst' game of the year simply by the reason that it technically functions in all aspects, even if it's gameplay is boring and it's story has more holes than swiss cheese.

This wild video editing was amazing and the dialogue was one of the funniest in any KZfaq video. aand I really couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic of the whole thing or not. I finished the game recently and I certainly enjoyed the elaborate storytelling but at the same time it seemed like a HUGE step back from the original Bioshock. The original was more challenging gameplay wise, and it was more horrifying because of it's dark setting. Regardless, the lore of Bioshock is still one of the greatest in video game history. It's up there with Half Life/Portal universe. Good video even though I wanted you to come out and say it was just a joke.

After enjoying the first BioShock, and then enjoying more so the second Bioshock because I'm more of a gameplay gamer, my hate for Infinate was next to immediate because it had done both positive aspects from the first two games worse and made many more mistakes and errors on its own. And playing Infinate a second time immediately after the first just confirmed my despise.

Holy moly, that review was something. The video is great, don't get me wrong, but that review is just... I need to come back to it, read it again slowly and understand everything better because it touches something inside of me.

Bioshock Infinite wasn't the worst game of the year. It was the worst Game of the Year, and that's far more disappointing.
