Songbird is one of favorite things to talk about in bioshock and his last moments were very sentimental it may just be me but that song still scares me

I honestly feel like songbird was the biggest missed opportunity of the whole game

I heard one of the people that created Songbird said that the relationship with it and Elizabeth was inspired from an ex girlfriend he had that went back to her abusive boyfriend reflecting the scene where Elizabeth went back with the Songbird to save Booker.

That scene of her running up to cuddle in Songbird’s palm gets me every time 😪 It reminds me of what a foster child might look like that has only ever had any affection unless it benefited the other person. Although I know he ends up her “Jailer” he’s not really getting anything for himself, his emotions for her are real, if manipulated ❤️

I love the theory that songbird is another booker. Personally I think it'd be great for the story and songbird as a character. Maybe if he was the original booker from the rapture dimension, sent over as an experiment. So in the end of infinite comstock dies, songbird dies and then booker soon after. All 3 drown. Would also act as foreshadowing of bookers fate.

When I first saw Songbird when I played Infinite for the first time, I nearly screamed and dropped my controller. After he died in Rapture, however, I started to cry, I love Songbird, he was such a unique character in the series. I also love that song that summons him and the sounds he makes.

I think a stealth mission that has you trying to avoid song bird would have been really cool. I loved song bird but because of how little of a threat he really was I would constantly forget about him.

It makes me kinda sad with how much Elizabeth hates song bird, I wish she realized that song bird was only doing what he was programmed to do.

I think songbird can be stronger than a big daddy and a big sister if they ever fought in the BioShock series

Infinite was by far my favorite in the series. I hope the next bioshock has either Booker and Elizabeth, or a comparable duo with the same chemistry. It just worked so well.

Apparently, when you are in Fort Frolic, going to visit Kyle Fitzpatrick when you are in an elevator, you can hear the Songbirds last cries. I have never heard that but there is a video out on KZfaq about it. Booker and Elizabeth enter Rapture after Jack gets Elctrobolt.

Songbird only wanted to protect her. He always loved her. Loved her enough to kill anyone who dared to hurt her. Before she met Booker and after she was imprisoned by Comstock, Songbird was the father she thought she needed.

I've been looking forward to this.

Of course Songbird is some kind of mutated, lobotomized Booker that Fink stole from another universe! ... Unlike Suchong and his failure at imprinting the Big Daddies on the Little Sisters, Fink was able to make Songbird form a bond with Elizabeth when she was still small, helping the wounded creature when it was hurt.

Hey BioshockHub! Here is a potential idea for a video, you know the part of Bioshock Infinite with everything destroyed and foggy, in Comstock House? Well, this area honestly feels like the "original Bioshock" version of Columbia, you know what I mean? Everything is destroyed, the suvivors are mutant monsters, and the few sane people lock themselves in ominous control towers above everything. Imagine if we got to see more of this post-apocalyptic version of Columbia? I even have a name for it, I call it "Dark Columbia" it's at the point in the game when Columbia is trying to invade the surface world. It's even implied that the Boys in Silence are actually in control at that point, because old Elizabeth says "The Lunatics run the Asylum, they won't even listen to me anymore." I know you said that you have seen enough of Columbia, but I think that if we saw this, run-down version of Columbia that was more in-line with Rapture, I think I would like it! They could also have an opportunity to flesh out Columbias version of Splicers, maybe they could be people mutated by Elizabeths time-warping abilities?

I felt for Songbird. What happened to him was not his fault. He was tortured and mutilated to fit that suit. There was a man before Songbird. Without that man, Songbird couldn't exist. He was HER protector, like mother and child. Maybe he did have memories of being with a wife and his children... who knows. Who was rounding up these people to be experimented on for the making of the Big Daddies, Big Sisters, etc? It would be very interesting to have backstories on those men before they became "monsters."

Man I really wish infinite would have felt more “shockey” to me. I loved fighting big daddies to make sure I got the most Adam I could. Infinite had nothing. What was Ken thinking? Ugh 😩

That was Knowledge is power. 1:35 This video film will show her about how she save Songbird from Fink's Laboratory. Like Constants and Variables. Like Big Daddy protect Little Sister just like Songbird protect Elizabeth. They have smart genius, technology with Knowledge is power!

I literally just beat this dlc 2 days ago. It's so fresh in my mind. I loved Suchong/Fink tear sharing minus the fact it changed the way little sisters/ big daddies were bonded. Another great video.

FIRST FIRST DURR HURR Edit: Just finished the video. So, there really isn't all that much info that goes into how a songbird is made huh? I know a Big Daddy is made by grafting their skin to their suit and genetically modify their brains to be more obedient (something like that right?) I bet the procedure is kinda like that for the songbird but I still wonder how it is so big. Maybe it's kinda like a modified handy man?

Personally I think infinite isn’t as good as the Bioshock games. I knew going into it I wasn’t going to like it as much as the other games but I really gave it a chance and tried my best to keep an open mind. There was so much stuff that I just didn’t care about that happened in it. Elizabeth kind of just annoyed me as a character because she just seemed too “Disney princessy” with the way she behaved and moved. I also couldn’t stand the Handymen fights. They got repetitive and wasn’t fun to fight them. The best thing about this game was Songbird by far. I wish the developers went more in depth with explaining its construction, experiments and other details like that about it. I also wish we saw more of it. The ending of the game (**SPOILER WARNING**) when he died and Songbird and Elizabeth had that moment where she was comforting it in its final moments totally got me and I legit cried real tears lol. In a way I felt more connected to Songbird as a character than I did with Elizabeth and Booker lol. If Songbird wasn’t in the game I probably would have quit playing the game halfway through lol. I feel like there was a big missed opportunity with Songbird and I wish the game had a lot more lore and background information relating to it.

I hate Elizabeth she literally just killed everyone who has ever helped her at the end of the game and her entire personality just shifts for no reason definitely the worst part of bioshock no doubt in my eyes.

Ah yes. The worst game in the series with the worst gameplay and such wasted potential. It seriously feels like Songbird had much more to do in the game but all of it was cut from the game. He doesn't even feel like a threat since he only shows up in scripted events or cutscenes
