I have a Princess Alexandra of Kent and I love it! I hope you enjoy yours. The other rose will look so pretty winding up the metal piece.

After years in my garden the blue grass is giving me lots of little grasses more than I need. But its manageable i keep what i need and get rid of the rest

I don't know how much experience you have with Solomons Seal but if it does what it did in my yard you may be sorry you planted it. It runs underground and pops up between every fern and hosta. When I try to dig it out I find never ending rhizomes that go very deep. I will never completely rid of this plant and it is now growing under my garage and pulling the siding off. I love the look but its VERY aggressive and has a never ending network of rhizomes. Vicki

I have been growing Solomons Seal for over 20 years and find it very easy to control. I can pull it out by hand. The rhizomes are very shallow. I have much more invasive perennials in my gardens that are going to be impossible to get rid of. Creeping Jenny is the worst and I had it in a container and a little piece rooted and now it is spreading like wild fire. Not a plant I would recommend. Thanks for watching.

@@floralnhardy7332 Well mabe it doesn't do in your yard what it does in mine. I have dug down more than 7 nches and find huge rhizomes not the little ones near the surface. I have had them around the same amount of years. I am also in zone 5 so mabe that makes a difference.Vicki
