@Mart -EL it means soon any time anyone needs a power boost (or an explanation for a power boost) it will start to become more regular for Dr Manhattans abilities to be the cause, making them less extraordinary and over time, yes... essentially what was always considered to be a comic book character with beyond godlike power, being if not one of the most powerful in the metaverse, THE MOST powerful, will be a cheap generic exploit for writers.

No, Dr Manhattan full power is not within Wally or the Batman who laughs they only have a portion of his powers and the dark multi-verse Batman dr Manhattan didn’t survive his situation it’s jut the brain swap allowed the body to be able to be used. It only looks raisin because sally and the Batman who Laugh arent Dr Manhattan.

The combo Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman is not only based on the ship that the kid Toyman built, but it’s sort of based on the Composite Superman/Batman from the World’s Finest comics in the 80’s. He was a villain who took on the form of half Superman and half Batman.

Gary Cannon uhh I’m not sure but I think you got that backwards. You were probably taking a jab at N52 but the wording makes it seem like you’re bashing on Death Metal. Which is a fun as hell book to read. It’s a joyride through everything that makes DC awesome.

DC is killing it with Dark Nights Metal, I don't know how anyone thought DC 5G will cause the shutdown for DC. So far the creativity level points to a promising trajectory.

It's like they just thought of everything badass and rolled it all into a comic book, wonder woman looking like a viking princess with a chainsaw with powers that also has the lasso of truth as it's pull starter, batman in a long coat with spikes riding a bat skeleton Harley Davidson wielding a scythe and also has a bat monster truck companion, all in a post apocalyptic world reminiscent to the mad Max world, not to mention batman and the black lantern ring, so, ZOMBIES, sheesh, this is just badass

It’s called telling a fun story instead of taking every single thing so seriously. Comics are supposed to be entertaining, right? And this series is fun as hell to read. Not a parody; but a celebration of everything cool that DC has to offer. They pulled out all the stops to give the fans a joyride through the DC multiverse.
