But Just looked at maintenance records. they are trash. The airline was grounded in 2019 for poor airworthiness(planes not at good shape need to service) but sri Vijaya ignored and it's believed it's airline's mistake

For everyone taking about the suspected crash on a flight from Jakarta, that plane was a 27-year-old Boeing 737-500, not a 737 Max 8. Whilst scary, it is unrelated. Wishing all the best to those onboard and their families, hopefully there can be some positive developments (although unlikely).

@rfsa180 do you think boeing will such a mistake again....i dont think so....it was partly airlines fault too....my father who is a 737 technician with over 30 years of experience showed me that many asian airlines have trashy maintenance record too...and i think the MAX will be the highest selling planes in a while after NEO so u may never get a flight lol

Said software went to shit and nosedived 340 odd people to death. Now.... More software and the instabilities still exist. Seriously, fuck Boeing

@@anshumanborah American maintenance is also shit. The truth is, you guys downplay other countries when you also have a problem. I am European sided so I like Airbus more bc countries cooperate to build aircraft and that sounds like a good idea. Im not going on a 737 max at all in all my life. My friends and family know to avoid any 737 max ticket and other aircraft. It just blows my mind how much safer and kinder the Airbus company is. And no, the 737 MAX will almost never recover and surpass the A320neo (being the fastest selling aircraft). This is what you Boeing slimes get. If it's boeing, I ain't going.

Come on, man. You must be joking or you don't know a thing about aviation. It is true that Boeing made faults on their 737 Max 8, but once Boeing used to rule the skies. Ever heard of the 747-400? Also known as the queen of the skies? Do you know the 767s, the 777s or the 787 Dreamliner? All these aircrafts are wonderful (especially the 777 and the 787 dreamliner). The plane which crashed right now in Jakarta is not even a 737 Max 8! But a 737-500, which is a 27 y/o plane. Get your facts straight before commenting BS about Boeing aircrafts

Humm the 737 max wont pitch up like you said,the 737 max fly normally without mcas,only when the nose is already pitched up too high,which is an abnormal situation,the mcas will trim down the plane to help the pilots because this is only in this particular situation that the engines will be a problem,otherwise,in a normal flight ,the mcas will never activate,this is a security feature,not a flying software,many people are scared about an airliner which needs a software to fly normally but this is impossible,an airliner like this doesnt exist

A day after u released this video, a Boeing 737 with about 60+ passengers went missing and feared to be crashed. This plane is not safe to fly in air. World Govt must ban this Boeing company for people's safety. News today 10/01/2021 "Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182, a Boeing 737-500, took off from Jakarta at about 1:56 p.m. local time and lost contact with the control tower at 2:40 p.m., said Indonesian Transportation Ministry spokesperson Adita Irawati. The plane's route was estimated to be a 90-minute flight to Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan province on Indonesia’s Borneo island. “The missing plane is currently under investigation and under coordination with the National Search and Rescue Agency and the National Transportation Safety Committee,” Irawati said in a statement."

Well, eventually another 737 MAX might crash but the cause might have nothing to do with the way that Boeing designed or built the aircraft.

There’s a difference bud. The one that crashed in Indonesia is an older model and doesn’t have MCAS on board so it is unrelated to this problem with the 737 Max-8

Becuase it aint that easy. The landing gear design of 737 makes it really hard to extend the gears beyond a point. It's better to make a whole new aircraft than to extend the gear
