I understand. My sister is schizophrenic and it sounds like this lady is as well. Unfortunately in their minds, their delusions are real and many of them don’t feel they need help. They don’t live in reality and their thoughts aren’t rational. I hope someone intervenes for her because it’s highly unlikely she’ll seek help on her own. I’m dealing with this and it’s painful and difficult. I’m glad Loretta wasn’t seriously injured. Best to you Dawson!

And 5 mos into the marriage she passed from acute leukemia.... from the chemo she had taken years prior..... I tell all to love the one in front of you as if it is the first time and the last time you will see them. Value each moment you have and make it rich. Much love my brother.

I stop eating meat beef in 2003, never ate pork, stop eating yard 🐦 this year, I never heard any spirit voices. Dawson, I also work in Mental Health. Mental Illness is real in our communities, but many of us have been taught not to trust mental health workers or psychiatrist, because most of them don't look like us, so there is a trust issues and feel they will play mind games. We need to try to get over that way of thinking, and shop for a therapist like we shop for everything else, until we find one that's a fit.

Yes‼️ She’s in desperate need to get some great counseling & meds and prayer, to help her get her mind straight. My ex- husband suffering the same mental health crisis . He didn’t continue taking his meds, so after he decided he didn’t want to take, his meds, we divorced. A lot of folks with mental health issues, they “refuse to take their meds.” I lived the “ nightmare”

Not only does it take prayer, but many times, medication is needed as well. We know the blood of Jesus can heal mental illness, but until he does, there's nothing wrong with medication to live a balanced life.

I know for a fact that some church members resent being referred to a Professional for counseling. Most of the time they refuse to go and are insulted.

I am plant based as well, pescatarian. I do not hear other people in the spirit. I changed my diet nov 2017. I feel a lot better and have lost weight. It didn’t affect my spirituality if anything for the better.

Let's also consider that when someone is mentally disturbed and bent on doing something to someone they are very capable of doing things like this "unexpected" attack. You are absolutely correct that security should have been assigned specifically to Loretta to prevent something like this happening. Epic fail...Sometimes things happen to show us to prepare and stay prepared.

Dawson I agree with you on this subject. Mental illness is not addressed by the church today. The main focus is now on financial and prosperity preaching. They're not really preaching the Word of God to save the lost, set the captives free or teaching about healing. It's all about prosperity this, prosperity that in most of these mega churches. By the way, what happened to those that claim to be sanctified Holy Ghost-filled talking tongues individuals, that can discern your sins and pray with you for repentance and deliverance from your sins but couldn't discern that Satan was using this woman's mind to do harm to The First Lady. This is why I only put my faith in God and not man. Man will fail you, leave you but God won't. He's your protector, provider and the Holy Spirit leads and guides you into all truths. My prayers are that the church does better with addressing mental health and provide Christian resources for those with mental illness

This reminds me of the lady that was fixated on Marvin Sapp. She was diagnosed prior to that. Side note: It’s not the person’s fault if they have mentally illness just like it’s their fault if they have a physically illness.
