I married my ex in 2003 and when I was the alter Holy Spirit told me not to do it and I did it anyway. He was not a provider, verbally and physically abusive. I divorced in 2019 and I am so happy and blessed.

That can't be the only time He warned you, most probably the last time before the actual vows. You had just gotten used to shutting Him down. 😢 So glad you got out, most don't have the clarity and courage to undo their act of Rebellion against God....yes it wasn't a mistake, it was a sin. Bless.

Does it agree with the Bible? Does it make me more like Christ? Does my spirit confirm it? Is this voice consistent with how God operates in me? Is it conviction or is it condemnation? Do I sense confusion or peace about it?

Thank you Pastor, that was a very profound message. I'm 66 and have learned some time ago to pray and ask GOD to give me wisdom. HE doesn't talk but when I ask for discernment for a situation, HE lets me know with a strong feeling inside deep down. If it's a life changing decision such as the "medical intervention" HE spoke loud and very clear and I listened. I didn't participate and I'm ok. Things come up and I always pray first before taking action. I get in trouble if I don't pray first asking for what to do.

God told me to avoid someone then they passed a month later. Today i prayed to see my friend and i ran into her on my way to church i prayed about my vision and God told me to eat more veggies and also today God told me to get a job

Sometimes this is very tricky, and there are huge consquences to not getting this right. Plus on top of that, God is always trying us. I've been spiritually paralyzed since 2021 because I don't know what to think about what's going on in my life. I've prayed to God many times, but I never feel that peace.

Its not easy to discern, sometimes we are on real tests. big life desicions. Im in a difficult situtation, long relationship(over decade), I was so young didnt know about love etc. As Im newborn my partner is not jet, aldo his a good person,we are good friends,but sadly God revealed he has traumas, an he never valued me or reciprocate,he doesnt know how to love woman. We never get to the marriage,no kids living together in our house, strugling with financies. He is avoidant type, and last few years is extremely difficult. Its like God revealed so many things, but I dont know what to do, he doesnt want to go on therapy neither to God.,neither fasting. Im fighting so many years, beying humble. But now we in celibacy and he doesnt want that. He also does not want marriage, hes scared, and does not see value in it cause his parents are no example. Sometimes I want to go away , but then its hard , I canot where to go,dont have job. Im sorry for him, but after 10 years I started to value myself also.
