Is the metal spindle the pump brush goes on suppose get hot? Mine is and I replaced 3 belts cause of this

The one with a heater is the proheat 2x which cost $179 at Walmart

@MaryMag & Martha : Make sure you've turned the big dial ( which is probably on the front, bottom ) from " _FLOOR CLEANING_ " to " _TOOLS_ " and then be sure to pull the trigger on the hand attachment(s) when you're using the hand tool(s). %-) Cheers.

where does the dirty water go

I believe they said, as the clean water leaves the bag inside the tank, the dirty water is sucked up into the actual tank. So, the bag should end up empty leaving dirty water in tank.

You gave it a 6 out of 10 because you have a thicker carpet and your "scared" to use it? So basically your reviewing and giving it a low rating because you don't wanna use your sister carpet cleaner because your scared... Wow... 😆

Good review. I missed Liz being there! Bob is funny but Liz is nicer to look at on the screen! ;) Good thorough review. Looks like a nice product for the money. Glad I don't have to worry about pet hair anymore...just my own messes! Thanks!

What if you take off plastic piece off will it still suck up water

Only if you put it in your mouth and suck it like a straw. Otherwise that's what the plastic piece is for on it to do from the vacuum. Did you happen to dye your blonde hair chestnutty brown?
