I love clean floors, so when I needed a new carpet shampooer to add to my growing collection of floor cleaning machines, I narrowed it down to the Bissell Pro Heat 2x Revolution Pet Pro Plus (say that 10 times) and the Tineco Carpet One. Y'all. You KNOW I'm in love with my Tineco vacuum mop and my Tineco cordless vacuum, but after hours of internet research, I had to go with my gut on this one and got the Bissell. I realise you made this video a year ago, but I wanted to say that I found it so helpful. Your video was very detailed, you showed the machine being used in real time. Your video has helped me to decide to buy it. Most videos don't show how to clean these carpet cleaners, which is something I really wanted to see. Thank you so much.

Also after washing your carpet, I would go over it another time with plain hot water to rinse the soap off because soap attracts dirt. but i would wait for the carpet to dry a bit more before rinsing it :)

This is interesting! I didn't know this. How do you do the hot water part? use a spray bottle filled with hot water?

@@tbuva02 you can fill the tank with hot water, or alternatively, you can spray the formula directly onto the carpet and then fill the tank of the carpet cleaner with hot water to rinse the sprayed formula off the carpet!

Super thorough review, and as always, your presentation is wonderful.I have tried a variety of vacuums over the years, and Bissell is my number one choice. Granted, I don't have a carpet cleaner, though I plan to get one when I move into a much bigger place. Right now, I just pay someone to come and clean my carpets. But I adore my Bissell pet vacuum. The pro sounds like a pretty impressive machine, and I am glad that you are pleased with it. I thought your review was wonderful and very descriptive. (This is just a minor point for those who can't see: it would be more clear if when you are talking about spots on the chair for example, you say where they are… On the arm? The seat? Etc. Don't worry, I know it is very second nature to say over there because the majority of your audience can visually see where you are pointing to. It's just a very minor thing that I thought I would mention since I know you really care about being descriptive with your content, which I appreciate.) Can you use cleaners that are not sold by Bissell or do you have to use their products? I will definitely check out your other product reviews as I continue to catch up.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to keep being more descriptive in mind for future videos. Of course Bissell recommends using their products and I have just always stuck with using them, so not sure about other products. Although I will admit, the last time I pulled out the machine I dumped in some of that hormone stuff that is supposed to keep cats from peeing in an area. I'm STILL having issues with her peeing outside of the litter box. After a very thorough check, vet says it's behavioral now.

I went back and forth because I love my tineco vaccuum mop and Cordless vacuum (I have reviews for both of those) but ultimately went with the Bissell since I liked my old Bissell and I liked how this one comes apart to clean. So far zero regrets!

I love that you shared how easy it is to clean this new one. That's what I don't like about my old one, how hard it is to get those front parts off. But yours looks great! By the way, the power shot is for localized stains for spot cleaning like if you use a spray bottle in a small area, and isn't meant to be moved all over the place. You keep the cleaner mostly in one spot to dampen the stain. This is a very good video on how to use this cleaner compared to other videos I've seen.

I'm sorry I didn't highlight that. Thanks for the feedback. Depending on the area, I'll usually go over it with the trigger to lay down soap 2-3 times and then a few more to suck up the soapy water.

Just bought this but haven't used it yet. With my old bissell I would put a little liquid downy fabric softener with the cleaner and water and shake it up and the carpet and couches would smell amazing! One note do not use an off brand fabric softener cuz for some reason it would not mix with the water very well. But definitely give it a try!

Try BAC-OUT stain and odor remover for the residual odor. It works great. Also had a sick cat. It worked great to remove odors. Great video. Thanks.

Thanks for showing how easy it is to take apart and clean the machine! I have been so back & forth with weather to get the tineco icarpet or the BISSELL. We have a dog that sheds bad so I’m leaning towards the BISSELL because of the hose attachment for stairs and hard to reach spots. Can you tell me if the roller comes off to clean it?

@@TheNeurospicyMama do you have to use a screwdriver to remove the rollers? Do the rollers seem to get a lot of hair stuck in them? I know my vacuum cleaner rollers are an absolute nightmare to clean

Great video...I have a hoover now,plastic retainers that hold it together break easily...im looking to upgrade to the bissell..cat pee odor is hard to get rid of..baking soda sometimes helps..

I'm getting this exact cleaner tomorrow, for urine spots I plan to pre-treat those spots with some pet urine eliminator spray, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then use the machine

@@kimmiles3071 Well now i'm having an issue with "carpet wicking" where the stains keep coming back. I'm gonna try just not doing the pre-treatment since that might be making the carpet too wet which causes the stains to come back up

You can use the cleaning tool to swipe out hair from the front of the machine and rinse out that with water

Did you put really hot water in the clean tank? The good thing about this new blissell is that you can go back and forth while cleaning. I’m debating of buying it or not… I have a low carpet and other carpet cleaners don’t clean deep enough so some of the stains are staying on the carpet.

I just use tap water. I'll often fill it with hot water from the tap, but not always.

I did the max cleaner which puts down more water and cleaner. The carpet improved greatly but the urine had soaked down to the carpet pad. I'd still say this is a great carpet cleaner because nothing can clean a carpet pad short of a professional. Also, this thing worked awesome to clean dog vomit in my car.... 🤢

Just bought this machine, (not the pro model) and it cleans very well, but Bissell still makes it a giant PIA to clean the foot and hair that catches in the roller gears. It seems like the "vanes" within the foot, are positioned to catch the hair; and even with the supplied flexible tool, getting inside is a major chore. The Pro model makes it simple to remove the entire foot, but not the regular model. I consider this a major flaw and I am might return it. One would think that knowing the cleaner will be used in a home with dogs/cats; Bissell would have engineered it to keep the hair out of the gear mechanism. This is my 3rd generation Proheat 2x series, and I am disappointed in Bissell.

@@TheNeurospicyMama Unfortunately, Bissell didn't make the NON PRO with the same easy to release foot as their PRO model. There are only a few differences, that imo, didn't justify the large price difference. It might have cost them a few pennies, but they chose the cheap way out, on the non pro.

@@TheNeurospicyMama Just an FYI, returned the NON PRO, and picked up an open box PRO model. There is no comparison, and as you said: Cleanup is quick and easy with the pro! I think that it also has a tad more suction.

It just doesn't seem useful to me since it comes out in such a small stream. But if that feature works for others then that's awesome! Overall, I really like this carpet cleaner!

A professional carpet cleaner I just love on KZfaq e plains how to clean your carpet the correct way to get pee stains and smells out he says the best thing to do is stop buying all the carpet cleaning crao at the store and get good old fashions ammonia spray it on the floor with a lawn and garden sprayer, let it sit and then go through with your carpet cleaner, omg my carpet has NEVER BEEN CLEANER!!

Not really helpful. I used this machine maybe twice and now it won’t suck up any water. The float is not stuck I checked and so did my husband. Soooo now I have soaked living room rug and I’ve been messing with this machine for hours and my carpet is still wet and dirty. I’m calling Stanley steamer in the morning and this is going out with the trash
