Hiya Joe. Definitely the perseverance through all the trials and tribulations is worth it. Fantastic image quality and feel, unmatched by digital imo. I am returning to photography and film after a break of many years. Loving the process and making sure its right in camera before pulling the trigger! Great job on the video, Riley is great infront of the camera. Good Job. Oh, Happy Birthday, have a good one whatever you get up to!

I’m such a perfectionist. It takes me a week or so to be able to appreciate happy accidents.

Thanks for sharing, it's good to see when things go wrong. You did look under pressure in the first half. Eager to get out with a new camera but maybe second guessing yourself. Some great keepers all the same. What caused the unintentional double exposures? Good to see someone keeping it real.

It’s amazing how just adding an extra step or two to a process can derail my entire brain function. As far as the double exposures go, I have three film backs. Two have double exposure protection and one doesn’t because it’s the first generation film back. If you look close, I would have had a double exposure or two on the color roll if the camera didn’t stop me from doing it.

Man, accidental double exposures, the bane of our existence. Just last month I've ruined a whole roll (well, two rolls in one); that's the last time I'm leaving the leader out on a rewound film roll :)

Makes me want to get my old RB out and do some of this. What are you using to mount the trigger for your strobe? Mine doesn't have a cold shoe and I'm looking for options.

Mine has a cold shoe. There is an attachment you can get that screws into the tripod mount that extends out to the left or right if the camera that has a cold shoe on it. I think it’s called an L bracket. Also, some of the left hand grips have cold shoes on them.
