Жыл бұрынHi! I am visual artist from Ukraine and my current big project is a series of Ball-jointed Dolls (BJD). I decided to share some parts of the process with you.
In this video I am going through different stages of doll making: preparing silicon molds, resin cast, sanding and doll test assembling. Soon she will be alive!

Materials:
The doll is made from resin is Smooth-Cast 305
!For safety reasons I wear glasses, mask and rubber gloves!

Thank you so much for showing your process and not speeding it up, she turned out gorgeous! May I ask how many times can you reuse this type of mold?

hi! I am planning to reuse the molds for about 20-25 times, and I hope most of them will be alive till then:) but I mean, there are so much different conditions that affects molds - storage, the frequency of using, the design of the detail itself.. I think some of the molds (like torso) will live longer and some (like hands) I will need to do once again

What resin do you use for casting? Polyurethane/epoxy/etc?
