I understand this like yeah u can not believe in something but accept it. Like me not believing in religion but accepting others that do. However the marriage point is where I start to side with the others. If u can't go to your sons wedding then u ain't accepting it either. Accepting it is going and showing face albeit you ain't gonna be happy with that choice but going to the shit unhappy is showing that you accept your child for what he is even tho I don't believe in what he is.if u don't show then all you're doing is telling people that you don't accept or care enough about your child to dignify his wedding with an appearance

@@mizzy9870 not going to the sons wedding is him accepting it too. Like the religion concept. Why would a christian go to a muslim praying ground to pray? It doesn’t mean they don’t accept them It’s just against their beliefs If it’s against his belief to be homosexual, why should he have to watch two people of the same sex get married even if it’s his son? @mizzy9870 3 жыл бұрын
@@torietnini8333 was gonna expand on my comment about how religion and homosexuality ain't the same but couldn't be arsed. Anyhoos I can now so basically just as you can make those comparisons you also can't as they are not the same. Religion is about faith, believing in something that ain't physical however homosexuality is. If a person is a Christian that means they have FAITH or BELIEVE in a God but they ARENT God whereas when someone is homosexual then THEY are gay. It's THEM it's not what they believe in its what THEY ARE. A better comparison would be if God himself was to show up to you and you're like listen I don't believe in you but I accept you exist. If you don't believe in something that's right in front of you then you don't accept it. Another example there's a fire and you go I don't believe you burn but I accept that you are fire. Do you start to see how contradictory it starts to look. How can u not believe that fire burn when that's literally what it is/does then say you accept it. Do you get where I'm going here?

It’s simple. You accept something doesn’t mean you believe in it. It’s like religion. Just because you don’t believe in God doesn’t mean you can’t love and accept people who believe in God. You separate the action of the person from their character and identity. Big up Emmanuel

I where to support them in every aspect but then one day I ask them to come to church w me or any religious sort of thing, and they proceed to say “God is not real” or like “why should I go to a church I don’t believe anything of that sort” u can’t drag them to church u can’t shove ur religion down there throat u have to just leaveeeeee that child alone or that person because it is there what? THERE BELIEFSSSSSSS! Same way ppl say they are born into homosexuality others can say they are born homophobic!!!! And before anyone replies and says ur not born a Muslim or a Christian lmao yes you are. I as a Christian believe we are all made by God same as this world and everything that has to be in it. So, before anyone says u can’t compare the two. It’s not comparing it’s just the fact I believe Jesus died for my sins, I believe God has made all, I believe the BIBLE and everything in it. Same way some may come to say they believe that they are born to like women, or men or both or the same sex !!! Like everyone is entitled to there own opinion NK!😂😂 u lot lost the plot u guys dragged it. You can’t force something onto someone if eman doesn’t wanna go to a wedding how u telling him that’s messed up to do to his own child when he’s the one who’s gonna be providing that kid! And u not giving a rats ass. Like plz u can’t force someone to think something or tell them what they think is wrong because at the end of the day u can think what u want and everyone else can think what they want. @Thiccnelo Where I disagreed with Emmanuel, was him saying he would not attend his child's wedding. And using the word 'unfortunately' to describe a society that allows people to be who they want to be. However I agree when he said you can accept someone and not agree with their beliefs. As much as it is a contradiction it makes a lot of sense you just cannot accept everyone's beliefs even if you accept them for who they are. People fail to realise that a belief is a whole identity and mindset. Does anyone realise how difficult it is to change that? It cannot be done overnight. You cannot suddenly believe in it simply because your son is involved because it remains a personal belief. With time it may change but it is already a good step to let the child be who they want to be.

Just because somebody doesn't believe in the same things doesn't mean that they don't love or accept them, for example just because someone has different beliefs in who God is doesn't mean that they dislike or hate or don't accept that person it just means it's a difference in belief system, just because someone is Muslim and I don't agree with their belief doesn't mean I dislike them or hate them. If my child decided to become a Muslim although I don't agree with it doesnt take away from the fact that I love him any less. If we lived in a society where your ideology of forcefully accepting each other's beliefs existed, then we wouldn't be individuals, culture wouldn't exist and we would all be homogenous, it would be a terrible thing.
