Pretty fast and gets the water clean. The only thing i would add is some prefilter cover to preserve some of that filter life. Good review

@@whothewho82 something like a coffee filter or basic strainer will get a lot out preventing issues with your main filter

You scare me sometimes, Iridium.... Not even one hour ago, me and some of my co-workers were discussing this very thing. I was wondering about an electric pump because it's getting harder and harder for me to walk every day, so anything that makes it a bit easier is a huge plus, in my book. Not sure how you knew this, but definitely sorcery of some kind.

not sure how keen i am on an electronic setup...prefer filter types such as life straw or sawyer but this is something to look into

Great idea but I’m a little skeptical about using anything battery dependent besides a flashlight for any survival items. That’s just me. More of a biofuel and water boiling guy myself. I’m just old and know that best.

I follow the same mentality, however I follow 2 is one and one is none. I try to have 2 reliable sources for redundancy, and when I reach a level where I am comfortable I can cover all scenarios with the best chances for the amount of resources I can input, I start to invest in "convenience" or items that can automate and make it so I can have multiple operations at once, such as cooking, purifying water, etc.
