Dude ... I'm sorry but I saw Black Adam and I truly love it. And when Henry Cavill's Superman came on screen the whole theater started screaming with joy. I can't wait for the next Black Adam movie. He is a game changer.

I don't know what the critics are smoking, I just finished watching it and thought it was pretty good. Certainly a good tone setter for whatever comeback DC stages from here. And ending it off with Cavill showing up was the cherry on top.

Dude I love the scenes with Cyclone! When she moves it's like one of those paintings made with broad, wild, and colorful brush strokes. Her movements when she's using her powers are amazing to look at. Also, holy shit Dr. Fate! The scene where he wipes the buildings as he makes an illusion to turn the surroundings into old Kahndaq, his movements are like a dream. And in his last scene where as his copies gets destroyed and the it just zooms out and it turns out we were looking it through the reflection on his helmet. Good god that shit's too pleasing to look at. Cinematography, choreography, and digital effects teams you guys are so good.

Charlie, You do something quite awesome and I am sure many have said what I am about to say to you: You have an amazing talent of supplementing whatever you breakdown. You just don’t go over what we all just saw. You add context and use references to support whatever you are reviewing. Most do not have an inkling of that talent. You make me believe that you buy into the lore and you speak to the subject from the perspective of someone that knows it and understands how it applies to a film or TV show. You don’t exhibit any pretenses that you’re some kind of film connoisseur that holds a certain view of what a production should be, but instead (as I said before) you breakdown and provide comment that supplements the things we love to experience. If I were to use something as reference that some may appreciate, I would submit the after show segments that follow each House of the Dragon episodes. They are fantastic at providing context to anything a viewer may have missed. You do that, but it’s quite the feat that you do it without being a producer. That’s talent.

It just happens easier with particularly kryptonite and magic.DCEU Black adam has shown to be pretty on par with DCEU superman, the movie also treated them as beings in the same realm. Using cw feats here also doesn't make much sense because we're discussing the DCEU, not the comics or the CW.

Oh man, I can’t wait to finally see the movie! I’ve been patiently waiting since last year and now I’m finally going to get my wish! This is one epic film & we get the DCEU JSA, too! Thank you, DC! Black Adam was fantastic, but I have to say he was better off on his own, didn’t need the other super heroes, loved how the movie was very serious and no comedy scenes like Thor , and super man at the end …. Wow !!!! Hope Amy adams returns as Lois as well as they have a great chemistry, black Adam was great highly recommended it

I hope there is a scene where the entire JLA and JSA are almost going to lose with Darkseid pinning Superman down. Suddenly you see a foot connecting with a head and break the sound barrier and Darkseid go careening off screen into a mountain side. Then you see Black Adam saying something like, nobody touches Kal El without my say so. And turns good for the sake of taking down Darkseid and his minions.

I liked the movie. And my favorite parts of the movie were Dr.Fate was battling Sabac and freeing Black Adam, and the post credit scene. Also like the jokes that were in the movie ) Can't wait to see how Superman and Black Ada mare going to talk in the next movie. And I love the Rock even more being so persistent to get Henry Cavil back as Superman )

Black ⚡Adam was a great movie. We all went nuts when Superman showed up 🦸‍♂️👍🏻😆 I can't wait to see justice league and justice society go up against darkseid, that would be DCEU version of endgame.

I went into this movie expecting it to be like a morbius movie and fuck no not only was the rock perfect this movie worked perfectly and it felt like a justice league done right keeping it still connected to the suicide squad and it just worked, it did get a lil cheesy on some parts with the kid and mom and people lol but it was good it works for DC, and the post credits just made it more better like yes thank God yall kept Henry cavill and it just hyped everyone up like it's been a while since a movie has made the world get this excited

this is why we love charlie, he explains the comic book origins of every hero and villains. this very important that people and specially some critics to explore the origins of these characters and dont jump to conclusions that the movie is bad..

I went to see it today 10/21/22 at 3:30 pacific time. It was just my family and a guy in his 50-60. I loved it and those not going are missing out.!

I like this movie, even though I'm not that much familiar with Black Adam's story in comics but I find the movie real good, for me it's the best comic superhero adaptation movie so far in this year lots of action and a decent amount of twist in the story, unlike Thor: Love and Thunder this movie won't disappoint.... 9 out of 10.. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The movie was a 6.5/10 for me. The action scenes were great. What put me off was them nerfing Dr Fate. He’s supposed to be one of the strongest DC characters and he’s constantly taking his helmet off when it’s supposed to be a split personality and the helmet should be glued to his head. Also, They ripped off the x-men straight up with the estate/jet that they have. It was also very cringe dialogue when Aman and the town put their hands up.

I got out a bit ago from seeing the movie. I really enjoyed it!!! The characters, story and visuals was phenomenal!! It would be cool and fun to see the JSA again in more projects/ movies Down the road!! It was really cool and fun to see movie portrayals of those characters!! And man did Dwayne Johnson deliver!! He’s been a favorite of mine for years!! He is fantastic as Black Adam!! I’m very excited and interested for his future in DC!! The ending of the movie just made it golden and cooler!! We’re so lucky to witness Cavil coming back!! About damn time!! I absolutely can’t wait for more Superman again!!

So if a truce finally happens between Superman, Black Adam and Shazam at the end of Black Adam 2, could a following Justice League movie see Darkseid's armada finally arrive to attack Earth ? Maybe a post credits scene similar to past Thanos teasers might happen at the end of Black Adam 2.

But there is no way Superman is stronger than Black Adam in the movie. In Man of Steel when Superman was shot by 50 caliber machine gun it made him back away and fly away because it hurt him whereas Black Adam in the movie had zero issue with powerful guns and even grenades.

Watched and enjoyed this in IMAX with Laser on opening night. Shame there were no expanded aspect ratio IMAX scenes for a movie as big as this. Come on DC, you can do better than that!

It's a heart breaking story, but I would love to see the Black Adam story "World War 3" so we can literally see him destroy everyone. It gives both sides a reason to fight, that movies, or movies, would be hype as hell!

Still a fan of HANS ZIMMER, look to the stars: Man of Steel THEME. I think, because Wally Hamboy was involved they used John Williams theme. can you imagine if they used the Zimmer theme at that moment??? It would have been a more complete RE INTRODUCTION for the hero sitting on the SIDELINES. I'm crazy Charlie, I know. HIGH FIVES 🙏✋

It's such a fun movie. Just eat your popcorn and enjoy. It's really stunning looking. I could see where they spent the money. I'm looking forward to the next movie. I really want to know about The Justice Society and how it started. Dr. Fate was the heart of the movie for sure.

just saw the movie , i thought it was pretty aight, absolutely when Henry Cavill's Superman came on screen was a total game changer and my theater was hyped, i can't wait for Shazam+ Superman vs Black Adam movie definitely and this is going to be a big time badass movie if Fury of The Gods does INSANELY amazing

Great film, back to basics superhero film with a good balance of humour and seriousness. Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan and Hodge were great in there respective roles, especially Pierce as he is a fantastic actor. And that post credits scene, makes me feel that DC is moving in a good direction.
